“Someone at the school must have told him.” Terrance shook his head. “Ethel had been very careful, but she did tell her roommate she was going home.”
“And the roommate told someone else.” I sighed. “So I see now why you are very cautious about who knows all of this information. It’s so easy for something to spread.”
