“Do you want me to stay up here?” Trinity’s voice wavered with uncertainty, a fresh change of clothes bundled in her arms. “So you can have some time to handle things with your mom?”
I pulled a tee shirt over my head and walked over to where she stood by the bathroom doorway. “No. Why would I want to hide you from her? You’re a part of my life now and I’m not ashamed of that.
