"I hope you realise, hell is my realm, Leah. No matter how much you try to hide your surprise date, I'll know about it, my girl." I ignored how my heart fluttered when he called me his girl. It shouldn't have felt right the way it did. Like the endearment was enough to make my day brighter. It was more than enough to make me feel the cold breeze like I used to feel by the beach.
