Chapter Two: The First Mate Disaster

“Mate!” the word left my lips and I saw her walking closer to me as I stood there stunned, watching the beauty in front of me moving. Her long legs and wide hips, flat stomach and perfect round breasts.

“Of course, then welcome to the pack!” I told her and regretted it immediately. How awkward that was, but she giggled.

“Thank you, Cassian. I didn’t see you at the welcoming committee.” She teased me and I chuckled.

“That´s because I am not, but my mother is.” I revealed to her.

“Oh, is she?” she said as we stopped in the middle of the forest surrounded by the trees and silence. The sweet apple and cinnamon scent were mixed with the natural forest one, making it even more delicious and mouth-watering.

“What is your rank?” she asked me with interest.

“I am a future Head Warrior,” I told her proudly, because I was proud of my rank.

I was the fourth strongest wolf in the pack.

“Oh, nice.” Her voice flattered a bit, but then she smiled so I forgot all about it.
