Bound by fire
Episode 1: The First Collision
Seraphina Knight walked into the grand ballroom like she owned the place. In reality, she was walking straight into the den of her family’s enemy.
The Blackwell Empire had destroyed her father’s business, leaving her family in ruins. And at the heart of it all was one man—Kieran Blackwell. The cold, ruthless CEO who had built his empire on the ashes of others.
Her stilettos clicked against the marble floor as she approached the bar, her sleek black dress hugging every curve. She was here for one reason: revenge.
And yet, the moment she spotted him across the room, her body betrayed her. Kieran Blackwell stood near the VIP section, his dark suit tailored to perfection, his sharp jawline like it had been sculpted to tempt and torment. His gaze locked onto hers, unreadable yet piercing, like he already knew she wasn’t supposed to be here.
Seraphina clenched her fist. He’s just a man. Just a target.
But when he started walking toward her, each step slow and deliberate, she felt the air tighten between them. The closer he got, the harder it became to breathe.
“Knew you’d come,” he murmured when he reached her, voice smooth as silk but edged with something dangerous.
Seraphina arched a brow. “I wasn’t aware you were expecting me.”
Kieran smirked. “You don’t step into my world without me knowing.”
His presence was overwhelming—power, confidence, danger all wrapped into one intoxicating package. Her body reacted against her will, a heat sparking in places she refused to acknowledge.
She reminded herself why she was here. Get close. Make him trust you. Then destroy him.
But then Kieran leaned in, his lips just inches from her ear. “If you wanted my attention, Seraphina, you could’ve just asked.”
Her pulse spiked.
Game on.
