Chapter 5

In Suwon palace all the mage stood at the training centre looking down with disappointment on their face as the king looked at them in anger

"You fools! Just a simple Job to catch a woman and you're all acting like it's a big task" the king said walking around the training centre as his voice was cold and his eye's red in anger.

"Your imperial majesty, we would never let you down. It is rumoured that Lena was saved by her Lover, this means if we can get him, we can get her" The chief guard said, shivering in fear hoping this would satisfy him for a while.

"I can't believe you're all mages! Bunch of lunatics! How can you not notice how she's playing games with you? And how you've been falling for it like fools that you are! Every time she fights with a mage, the words of the people change to another Intel entirely don't you get what this is? She gives the people things to talk about and you fools! Follow their words in scouting for her and how has that worked out for you? Lena is a smart woman. Have you forgotten who her mother was? You can't easily get a grip of her, she has things up her sleeve the earlier you understand this, the better for you. I want you to bring Lena and her mysterious saviour in two day, or you're all dead!" He said and walked away not sparing any of them a gaze.

He yawned loudly as he stood up sluggishly from the bed, though he was still having sharp pains in his back, he felt much better than last time.

"I can see you're up" Master Lee said as he dropped a bowl of hot soup on the table. "I brought some soup for you as it would help you heal faster since it contains some herbs" He said with a smile on his wrinkled face.

"Where am I? Who saved me? Why aren't you answering my questions?" He asked as he quickly grabbed a shot knife on the table pointing it as master Lee

A smirk appeared on his face as just a snap of his fingers the knife left the hands of Zack and landed on the hands of master Lee "You don't threaten people with a short knife, it can end up killing you instead" He said dishing a little soup from the bowl to a plate "Eat your soup, when you're done I can answer your questions" He added dishing his own soup then taking it and sitting opposite Zack "But right now, I do the asking, and you do the answering" He said taking a spoon full of soup in his mouth.

"Fine! It's not that there's anything interesting to know about me" Zack said as a frown appeared on his face.

"Do I look like someone craving entertainment? I guess you haven't heard the rumours of the people after your encounter with Lena. Your life is at stake, you either choose to open up to me or die" Master Lee said with a frown on his face.

"And how do I know I can trust you, my so-called saviour?" Zack fired back at him angrily. He was a man with a short temper and little things can make him go mad.

"Because I just saved you and I would have poisoned your soup if I really wanted to harm you," Master Lee said, taking another spoon from his soup.

"That kind of makes a good point. Fine, what do you want to know about me?" He said digested as there was no way he could win over him.

"Who are you? Why are you here? And why do you have the mark of royalty from a powerful kingdom?" Master Lee said as he dropped his spoon to keep eye contact with Zack.

"My name is Zack, i'm from Sangim inside Gogae continent and I'm the first son of the emperor. I was driven out of the country and out of the continent by my father because I was without powers as it was believed that any royalty without powers is a vessel for Imoogi, a dragon that enters human's and feeds on their desires. They all took me as a threat and a plague to Gogae. I was still on my journey to probably encounter Imoogi when I saw the fight between the prince and Lena and when I saw the prince making an unannounced move which I assumed she was unaware of, I ran to save her because that was the only thing I could think of. By the way, how did you know i was royalty and from a powerful kingdom?" He said taking the last spoon of his soup before dropping it.

"Your palm says it all, the mark on your palm symbolises royalty. So you were driven out of your continent because you are a potential vessel for Imoogi?" Master Lee said, raising his eyebrow and smiling at the same time.

"When you say potential, it makes it sound bad. I don't believe Imoogi is real, it's just a story mothers tell their children to make them hate dragons" Zack said with a slight chuckle.

"Very wrong son, Imoogi is a real and unseen creature and the last person it entered was Emperor Joon, your grandfather," Master lee said, trying to study Zack's expression but Zack was a man who always keep an expressionless face because he never wanted anyone to be able to read him.

"My grandfather! Why am I just hearing this? Why did no one tell me about this?" Zack said as different thoughts ran through his mind. Was his father afraid that what happened to his grandfather would happen to him? Did his father send him away to protect him? Was this all for him all just because he hates him? Different thoughts ran through his mind. If his daddy really wanted to protect him, why didn't he just let him know? Why did no one speak about his grandfather? And why is everyone so afraid of Imoogi? He kept on asking himself different questions none stop, but nothing made sense to him. The main question that disturbed his mind was, was he really a vessel for Imoogi?
