Doubt

Blood drip down Sebastian's ears and nose. He only collapsed when Nesrin is out of their sight.  The spell didn't work. It was still their lady who was fighting to gain back her rationality.  "Sebastian! Damn it! Are you trying to kill yourself?! I told you to do something, but I didn't told you to used such an advance magic spell!" Mary spoke in frustration and release the magic barrier. She too collapse on the ground.  "I'll do it next time." "Silly. You're body is weaker than me. What would you think will happen if you copy what I did?" Sebastian removed the white gloves that was dye in blood before looking at the direction Nesrin left and realize that he was still not on par with their lady.  He could still remember how the Queen had honed her.  A double edge sword. To either be killed by the sword she had sharpened, or either the sword kill those that Nesrin treasure so much. "Let's wait for our lady's return." Sebastian spoke softly and gaze at the sky. MEANWHILE, while this happened... Zephyr, a cultivator from the higher land, who's currently in the lower continent to hide and recuperate felt the enormous force that came out of nowhere. It's not only him who had sense it, but all the strongest in the lower continent.  However, before they could even trace where it came from, the spiritual energy that burst out suddenly disappear like the spring breeze. It filled them with goosebumps.  Zephyr frowned. His blue hair swayed as he move and his presence gave off others a wild and handsome countenance.  'Is it from above? Did they finally found my location?' Zephyr touches his face and smirk. Well, that's the plan in the first place. To divert their attention to me.  Those that were trying to harm my brother... 'I won't forgive them!' That is their greatest sin! ... ... NESRIN, looked at her bloodstain hands as her brain processed what had happened. 'Ahhh. So it was one of those days.'  A bitter smile emerge from her lips.  She could feel something dripping on her cheeks. It was blood. But not her own.  She slowly turned her head and saw the scattered corpses of animals.  And for the first time, she heaved a sigh of relief seeing that it wasn't human.  It wasn't a human body she had seen after coming back to her senses. Nesrin could not remember what really happened. She could see bits of pieces of herself just slaughtering the animals who had come her way.  She was thankful that before losing her rationality, she came to the forest and not in the city.  Still... Her body trembled.  Even if she didn't kill any yesterday, it was a fact that she had killed people and this body had been soaked and showered in blood.  But her greatest sin... Was killing the innocent and her own allies. Her allies that was on her side! But even though she knew what she had done. She did not even shed a tear. Could not even feel remorse.  ...even if she wanted to.  MARY AND SEBASTIAN waited for Nesrin until dawn. They didn't move until they saw her.  The dress that they remembered white is dyed with red. Or should they say, their lady who come to her senses is covered with blood.  Both the servants expression turn ashen.  Because they knew their lady woke up bearing a heavy sin. A burden she could never forget for the rest of her life. Maybe the reason why she decided to wander around the world in the future. Nesrin quietly stops in front of them. "Did you wait long?" The voice came out as a low whisper.  "No, we didn't." Mary's voice trembled as her eyes and nose started to go red, suppressing herself to cry. "I...I'm sorry. I don't know what to do." Silence befall around the three. But then soon was broken by her. “Mary, could you prepare my bath?" “Right away, Miss.” "I saw you bleed earlier..." Nesrin spoke watching the departing back of Mary as she can't looked at Sebastian in the eye.  "It was worth it..." Sebastian smiled and took a step to meet her eyes. However, Nesrin looked away on the other side.  "So, don't feel bad about it. Because this is nothing." He chuckled and patted her head. It was just a small thing but maybe this small gesture would warmed Nesrin's pained heart.  ["Do you think you will live happily ever after together with them? Oh my dear darling Nesrin! Stop wishing. You'll just make them suffer." The Queen said mockingly.] Nesrin lowered her gaze. A light past through those deep golden eyes as she remembered what her stepmother had said before. 'She was right.' "My lady, your bath is ready."  Looking up, Nesrin's expression turn chilly as she follow Mary to the bathing room. She removed her clothes and soak her body into the warm bath. She sat there in a daze. Closing her eyes. She began to think. If she becomes stronger and be able to return to her original world...will her strength be enough to kill her stepmother? Nesrin asked herself in doubt.
