Chapter 11: Welcome to Wicceros

Of course, why would treacherous individuals like them go to heaven?        Then, the growling became more apparent as if that thing was approaching her.        What is that? Is that a dog?       She heard crisp, incoming footsteps along with a staccato-like snarling. It’s now clear to her that dogs don’t make that kind of eerie sound.        Definitely not a dog!        Then she saw the tall bush from her left side rustled, and she shivered at the thought of what could possibly be hiding there. She started to heave herself up slowly so she wouldn't make a sound, eyes still glued on the bush, and as she completely stood up, she felt a sultry air puffing on her back and her heart pounded as she realized someone was breathing behind her.        She knew it wasn’t wise, but she slowly turned her head around to confirm her suspicion and her eyes widened in fear as she saw a humanoid beast standing inches behind her. It was brief, but she managed to take a look at its entirety in just a couple of seconds. It has a complete body of a human. Its pale and sallow skin is slimy as if it had just come out from whatever experiment it had just undergone. Its head is bald, and its flesh is obviously rotting, and she even saw maggots coming out of its torn skin. Its yellow eyes with black slanted pupils are sticking out. She even thought that those might fall anytime.        Then, its black, decomposing mouth started to open wide, showing its pointed teeth before a loud and vicious snarl escaped from it. She finally uttered a shriek and barely ran away from it as it pounced on her.        Dios mío! What the h*ll is that!        She saw how the beast ran with its two arms on the ground as if it was four-legged, and it was clearly gaining on her, so she stopped looking back. This is why everyone should live an honest life. How is she going to live here for eternity? Will she ever find Ni’mula and Laria here?       She tried to accelerate her speed, and she never thought that she could run this fast as she made her way through the tall, thick, and bushy part of the forest. It looks like her pursuer doesn't intend to hide from her anymore as she could still hear its loud growling while chasing after her.        She ran and didn’t look back, and when she saw a dense group of large and wide shades, she decided to hide as she couldn’t catch her breath any longer because of the long run. She should have run a few meters back then when she was alive.        Where in Christ’s name am I? Am I really in h*ll?        What is that beast that's trying to devour her? It resembles an orc in Lord of the Rings, but for some reason, it also looks like one of the high-level zombies in Resident Evil. She wanted to scream for help. There might be someone here who can help her. However, the beast would surely come to her first before she’d get any help.        She heard the growling sound of the beast once more, and it’s coming near the shade she’s currently hiding from.        Sh*t! Is it following my scent? Why didn’t I think of that!       She silenced herself despite her catching her breath. However, an insect bug stung her leg, and she instantly wriggled that leg to throw the insect away.        She gasped when she saw her nakedness below. No— she’s totally n***d all over! She already ran for kilometers, and she just noticed it now?        Oh no!        She cupped both of her hands on her mouth. She was horrified at her nakedness that she forgot there’s a beast currently hunting her. She took a peek on the left side of the shade, but she found no signs of the beast. She couldn’t hear its growling too. It must have passed her by. She let out a deep sigh of relief as she blinked her eyes close. However, when she turned her head to the other side, she saw the beast sneaking beside her, and she screamed her heart out instead of running away.        The beast throttled her neck using its left hand with soiled-black and pointy nails like claws. She gagged instantly, and she felt warm liquid oozing all over her neck because of its claws piercing her skin. The beast then lifted her in the air with one hand as if she just weighed like a puppy.        No. Not again!        She had so much suffocation in one day. She tried to wriggle out of its hold. Then it started to snarl, and she was horrified to see its mouth opened— No! It stretched— enough for her whole head to fit in.        Dios mío, I wanted to be reincarnated too!
