Raven entered his office and was greeted by his secretary's wide smile. She's grinning from ear to ear. It was fine at first, but as time passed, there seemed to be something different about her smile.
‘Why does she look at me like that? Do I have something on my face?’
He nonchalantly turned around and wiped his mouth with his handkerchief, in case there was leftover food residue on his lips. He was in a hurry to get back. Plus, even if there was something on his face earlier, his idiotic friend Glen, who did nothing but stare at the waitresses in the cafe, wouldn't have mentioned it. And because he was flirting with someone, he didn't go back immediately.
He looked at his handkerchief but didn't see any dirt, so he turned his attention back to his secretary. She was still smiling at him, so he spoke up.
"What's the matter? Why are you smiling?" he asked, and her smile widened even more.
Now he looks more scared.
"Nothing, Sir! Welcome back!" Hestia happily said, then she picked up the iPad from the table. "The board meeting will start in 10 minutes, Sir. The board room is ready and everyone is there. I'll let them know that you're here now."
After his secretary said that, he nodded and went inside his office to get his laptop, but it wasn't on the table. He heard his secretary speak again.
"Your laptop is already in the board room, Sir. Everything you need, Sir, is ready. Even the reports are there," she said, which surprised him. "You're the only one missing, Sir."
"Good. Let's go then."
He left his office and couldn't help but glance at Hestia's desk. He saw the documents piled on top. "What are those?"
Hestia turned and looked at what he was pointing at. "Oh, those are documents for you to sign, Sir. I already informed the departments that they can get updates after you sign them. I've sorted them out, Sir. The urgent ones that need your signature and the ones you still need to review."
He nodded, but didn't say anything more and went to the board room where everyone was waiting, just as Hestia had said. Everything was in order and ready.
He admits, he's impressed. But it's only been a few weeks. He knows she's just trying to show off.
Let's see if she's consistent.

"He's gay," Hestia told Danica, then placed some drinks on the tray.
"What? Your boss is gay?!" Danica asked, unable to believe it, while she grabbed the tray.
Danica is one of her roommates in the dormitory where she has a bedspace. She works as a dealer in a casino, and at night, she sidelines at a sports bar where she is now. Danica's boyfriend is the manager of this sports bar, and they needed some on-call waitresses recently. She was looking for an extra job to supplement her income, and luckily, she was able to join this gig.
She's been working here for a week now. After her work at the company, she just goes home, rests for a while, and waits for Danica so they can go to the sports bar together. She quickly became comfortable with Danica, especially since they have a lot in common. Aside from both being from the town, they are also breadwinners who work multiple jobs to support their families back home. So they often chat. And one of their topics is her boss, Raven.
"At first, I didn't want to believe them. But they've been with the company for a long time, and it's likely that they really know Boss. So, I'm sure it's legit," she confidently told Danica.
"But you're the one who spends time with him in the office, right? So didn't you notice?" Danica asked as she sat by her side.
She shook her head. "No, I'm still new and I don't really interact with Sir that much. Except when we have discussions about the meetings. But aside from that, nothing. Although now, I realize that he might indeed be a bit grumpy and very clean in and around him. He doesn't want any mess."
"Is that the only basis you have? That's really judgmental. Maybe he's just naturally clean and grumpy? Snobbish and serious type. When you were describing him to me, I imagined him as a handsome mysterious guy, Mr. Grumpy but yummy. You know what they say? Those quiet and grumpy types are the ones worth chasing. And they say they're well-endowed too."
"Well-endowed?" she asked, not understanding what Danica meant.
Danica laughed. "You don't know what 'well-endowed' means?" she asked, and she nodded. "Well-endowed means having a large package. Penis... or a large dick."
Hestia blushed at what she said. "Hey, you, big mouth!" she exclaimed, and Danica laughed even more.
‘What are these words that I’m getting to know? Maybe I have a wrong choice of people to talk to, huh?’
"I just answered your question, that's all."
Little did she know that the moment when her face was held between his thighs while she begged him suddenly entered her mind.
‘It seems like it's kind of big since I felt it on my cheek.’
She touched her face and shook her head. She tried to remove that from her mind.
‘Stop it, Hestia, you shouldn't be thinking about that. Forget about the embarrassing thing that you did. If your boss is blessed with a big asset, you shouldn't care about it, especially since it's not right to imagine how big it is.’
"They also say that she had a relationship with Glen, her frequent meeting partner. Maybe it's true. Especially since he's always there in the office and always talking to him."
"If that's the case, then it's a waste for your boss. I kind of liked you two together. I was going to say that you should seduce her, even for just a one night stand, to see if it's really big."
"One night stand?" she asked Danica again.
"It’s called one night stand, when you have s*x just once. No strings attached. No feelings involved. Just try it once," she replied straight up, causing Hestia's eyes to widen again. "Seriously? What world are you from? How come you don't know that? Don't you have any friends?"
"I graduated from a Christian school and I also don't have any friends." That's the truth, so that was her answer. "But there's such a thing?" she asked, seemingly in disbelief.
"That's how my boyfriend and I got to know each other. We were both lonely, so we decided to try each other without any feelings involved. But then, it felt good, we kept longing for each other and he even courted me."
‘So that's possible? It's different in New York. But Sir is gay? How am I supposed to try him?’
Her eyes widened at the thought that was in her mind, so she quickly scolded herself.
‘Hey, Hestia? Why do you have a plan to try your boss? Oh, no! Erase! Erase! Stop it. Your boss is gay and he has a boyfriend! And you shouldn't be thinking about those things. You should be thinking about earning more money because if your mom calls and you haven't given her anything, you'll hear her terrifying words again.’
She said to herself. Luckily, she had a job now, and on top of that, the customers at the sports club she worked at gave big tips. That was a big help for her.
"Well, whatever. Whether my boss is gay or not, what's important is that he's a good boss. And as long as he's good to me, I have no problem with him. And I just hope that my work doesn't conflict with my full-time job," she told Danica.
"Oh! Wait, speaking of side gigs, do you still want to have a side gig? I have a friend who needs a companion for the elderly—"
She slapped Danica and gave her a stern look. Danica laughed and shook her head. "Stupid! It's not about being a promiscuous person, just a companion, like you accompany them if they want to go to the grocery or play golf, or when they have parties. They're nice old people there, don't worry."
‘Wow? There's such a job?’
"You said it's okay, as long as I won't have any problems, right?"
"I'll take care of you. I promise, it's gonna be okay."

Hestia yawned while looking at her boss' schedule. She was tired and felt exhausted after her gig last night. In addition to her gig at the sports club, she also took on another gig that Danica recommended. It turns out that gig wasn't that difficult. It was just being a companion, and her clients often just wanted someone to accompany them wherever they go.
Most of them were wealthy elderly individuals whose children and grandchildren were too busy to spend time with them, so they would just pay someone to be with them even for a short while. Some of them were still in denial that they needed a caregiver or a live-in assistant, so they would hire part-time personal assistants or companions instead.
Her client last night organized a movie night with her friends at her club house, which is why she came home in the early hours. It was her third client. The first one was just an old man who wanted company while playing golf. Her second client was a woman who wanted company for shopping at the mall. And the third one was last night, who had a party and watched 70's movies with her wealthy friends.
The rich really have interesting ways of entertaining themselves. When your family doesn't have time for you, they can just hire someone to accompany them. It's different when you're poor. If one person leaves, everyone goes with them. If one person has a party, the whole barrio will attend even if you don't know them, just to join in the party. Sometimes, even if you don't want to be accompanied, they insist on coming along, just to enjoy the freebies. But she didn't complain about her work last night. She even enjoyed it, especially because she received a big tip. She needed it especially since her mother called again asking for money.
But she's exhausted and she barely had 3 hours of sleep.
"Ms. Coronel, I'm asking you if you're okay."
"Oh, my goodness!" she exclaimed, unaware that her boss Raven was right in front of her. She immediately stopped when she realized what she said. "Oh, sorry sir!" she added before covering her mouth.
‘My mouth is really something!’
"Are you okay? You look pale."
"I'm fine, Sir. Um, I just didn't get enough sleep because I was watching a new K-drama, that's why. But I'm alright, Sir! Ready for today!" she said, standing up and giving Raven a wide smile.
He looked her up and down. "Go home."
"Pardon?" she asked, confused.
‘Wait, did he get mad because I'm tired and wants me to go home?’
"Sir, I promise I'm fine. I can work today."
Raven shook his head. "No, go home and rest. I'm leaving too. I'm flying to Shanghai in 2 hours. Glen is coming with me."
‘Wait, they have another date? What about his scheduled meetings today?’
"Sir? What about your scheduled meetings today?"
"I texted you to cancel it. Didn't you read it?" he asked irritably, causing her to quickly take her cellphone.
She hadn't read his message yet because she was busy arranging his schedule. "Sorry, Sir. Okay, noted. When will you be back, Sir? So I can fix your schedule immediately."
"I'll be back tomorrow afternoon, so reschedule all my meetings on Friday."
‘He's so high and mighty. It's like other countries are just on the other side of the street.’
"Noted, Sir. I'll just send you your updated schedule."
Raven nodded and went into his office. But he came out after a moment. He seemed to have taken something.
"Go home, do it at your place," he said, and she nodded. Then he handed her something. "And do me a favor."
"Sure, Sir! What is it?"
"Can you look for a cleaning agency? I want my condo to be cleaned today. Here's the address of my condo. I didn't like the cleanliness when it was cleaned yesterday, so I want it cleaned again." He handed her 10 thousand pesos. "Here's the money. You take care of it."
Her eyes widened as she looked at the money. "10k for the cleaners, Sir?"
Raven nodded. "Yes, go ahead, I need to go."
After Raven left, she immediately searched for a cleaning agency. But there were none available today. So, she let out a sigh and looked at the money. Then her smile widened.
‘Stupid, you need money, right? Why don't you just clean it yourself?’
Ten thousand pesos. Easy money, she just needs to clean. Now she's grinning from ear to ear.
"He probably won't get mad," she murmured.
