Another wolf came out of the gate station when his partner fell and ran back to sound the alarm when Damon suddenly appeared in front of him. Damon’s clawed hand drove into the chest of the wolf and he grinned showing off his fangs. The wolf gurgled one last time with blood oozing out of his mouth before he fell to the ground leaving Damon standing upright with a still beating heart in his hand. Damon dropped the heart and once again motioned for Alicia to follow him. Alicia came out of hiding and rushed to follow, gingerly stepping over the dead wolf. It was a violent way to die but Alicia was more impressed with the swift efficiency Damon used to do it. He’d been quiet about it so as not to raise much of a ruckus leaving the way inside partially open for them. “Stay close,” Damon said
