Oh No!!! We're Still Married!!!

Chapter 1

They didn't have anything to eat so they stopped at Arby's on their way home since that's what Rain wanted. "Mommy who was that man and why did he say you we're his wife?" She wasn't sure if she should tell her the truth so she just said "We'll talk about him later baby girl. How about you eat your food and then we'll go home and watch a movie of your choosing." So they ate and Left on her way home she called her best friend Tyler."Hey Tyler you wanna come over for a little bit?" She asked "Sure but can I bring Liam with me we're kinda on a date? "he asked "Of course you can I'll be home in like 15 mins. See you guys there." She said. As they both hung up. As soon as she pulled into her driveway Tyler followed right behind her. They got out of their cars and ran to hug each other. "Uncle Tyler Uncle Liam you gonna watch Trolls with us." Rain asked. "Of course anything for you Pumpkin." Tyler said. So they got into the house and they all settled on the couch. Courtney put Trolls in just like her daughter wanted. Then she went to sit next to Tyler and played the movie. "So you'll never guess who we ran into at the restaurant earlier today with Ryan." Courtney said "Who did you run into?" He asked "Mark" Was her reply "Are you serious?" Liam asked "Dead Serious" She said "Shhh guys I'm trying to watch Poppy and Branch." Rain yelled "I'll tell you guys later when she goes to bed." She said The movie finished. "Come on sweetie let's get changed into our pajamas and you into bed." Courtney said She went to her bedroom first while Rain was brushing her teeth and got dressed in her Pajamas. Then when she was finished she went to get Rain in her pajamas. "So mommy It's later who is that man and why is he calling you his wife? "Rain asked "Honey that man is a blast from my past." She said "Is he my father?" Rain asked. And there it is the question I was dreading I know I cant lie to her. Then the doorbell rang through the house. "We'll talk about this later baby girl go to sleep while I go get the door." So when she went to answer the door somebody was already standing there in the doorway. Tyler must've answered the door for her. "What are you doing here Mark I thought I told you I wanted nothing to do with you. How did you even find me?" She yelled at him "The better question is what is he doing here?" He snapped. "He's here because him and his boyfriend came to hang out with me and Rain." She snapped back. "Wait he's gay." Mark said " Yes now tell me why your here and how you even found me?" She asked "Baby you know I have my ways. I'm the owner of one of the best enterprises out there. Steeple Enterprise to be precise." He said "Don't call me that I am not yours." She said "I beg to differ we're still MARRIED. So that makes you mine." He said "Wait you guys are still married why didn't you tell me Courtney." Tyler said. They both forgot he was still there in the doorway with them. "It is none of your business." Mark snapped. "That's what i was gonna tell you after I put Rain to bed." She said "Rain what a beautiful name, is she mine?" Mark asked "Yes it is beautiful! It's the name i always wanted to name our daughter." She answered back "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked "I didn't tell you because at the time you we're thinking I was cheating on you. So I thought you would've denied her. I still don't know who I was cheating on you with by the way. No one has ever answered that one question I've been trying to figure out for years. "She said "You wanna know who I thought you we're cheating on me with?" He asked "Yes of course I do I've only been asking for 5 yrs now." She said "Him" Was all he said and pointed to Tyler. That's when me, Tyler and Liam all started bursting out laughing. "Really you thought I was cheating on you with my gay best friend." Courtney said "You really thought I was her lover. She's so not my type. No offense." Tyler said "None taken." She said "This isn't funny." Mark yelled "Yeah it kinda is because this all could've been resolved 5 years ago if you just asked me if i was cheating. Instead you threw divorce papers in my face and told me to sign them." She yelled back "Well if you saw the pictures you would've thought the same thing. You two looked so in love." He said with sadness in his eyes "You still could've asked because I would've told you he was gay." She said "Can I see our daughter." He changed the subject. Little did they know Rain was sitting on the stairs listening to the conversation because she heard yelling and was trying to figure out what was going on. "He's my father?" She asked pointing to Mark
