Chapter Six Hana dozed on the sofa, comforted by the sound of her daughter’s steady breathing on the red leather seat opposite. She felt at peace for the first time in ages and sighed with contentment. Her dreams took her back to the tennis court at school, practicing with the blond haired stranger. Hana returned his serves with confidence and he laughed and encouraged her. “Awesome, Hana. Squat into your shots more and give it some power.” Sounds encroached into her sleep-pictures, dispersing the man’s face and causing him to disappear like white mist.
