Getting ready
The arrival
I woke up in the morning, exhausted from worrying the previous night.
I was worried because it was my first day of middle school. Without hesitation, I walk out of my room down the hall to see my mom waiting on me. she was waiting with the warmest arms ever ready for a hug. "congratulations your officially in secondary school!" says my mom with a warm smile on her face.

I immediately look up at the clock to see that it is 8:10.
"hey Lucy I have to go ill see you at school hopefully " I say in a trembling voice after seeing I had 30 minutes until school started. I spent 10 out of the 30 minutes doing my hair and makeup, another 10 preparing my backpack, and the other 10 practicing my entrance to the door. shortly after the clock struck 8:37. I live about 5 minutes away from school. as I was about to leave I got a sudden feeling...
