Lightning Beast: Kirin

Zadkiel was brought to the zone by his scouts for him to heal his wounds. For Zadkiel to rest the scouts take charge of the current situation, they will be the ones holding the dragon.

Zadkiel gave each of his scouts a piece of the Lightning Fragment. As soon as the scouts all received one they immediately went back to the location

Zadkiel looks upon his Elite Assassin thinking "If only I was strong enough that wouldn't have happened to you. Now you may rest in peace"

After a while, Zadkiel feels great and he is finally back to his feet. His wounds are all sealed up as nothing happened.

"Now time to get back and teach that giant winged lizard a lesson" and Zadkiel went on his way.

In midair Zadkiel noticed something. His allies are battling the Demon Lord that blocked his attack earlier.

"Is that the one that blocks many fast attacks" Zadkiel went straight ahead at Belphegor and attacked it but it was easily blocked just like before

Zadkiel noticed Belphegor's eyes it is like a raging wind

"Tell me Belphegor what's with your eyes," Zadkiel asked

Belphegor remained silent

"Fine then keep it for yourself" Zadkiel attacks with the second dagger but Belphegor manages to block it as well

Zadkiel fall back and went to join the group

"Beware of his eyes, it can sense a sudden change in the atmosphere and even the slightest moves he can predict. Now you know that I must leave I still have errands to do" Zadkiel left

Zadkiel flew straight to the location of his scouts. Not far away from the location, he saw the dragon and numerous lightning strikes. He speeds up and finally arrived

"Scouts stats," Zadkiel asked

"Zadkiel looks like the dragon is immune to our lightning attacks and its skin is difficult to penetrate using our daggers" a scout replied

"Well, then I should join the performance. Scouts let's dance" Zadkiel said

Zadkiel wields his Sacred Gear and charges towards the dragon. Upon contact of his blade to the dragon's skin, the lightning powers are getting drained, Zadkiel has no choice but to fall back

"What on Earth is that monster," Zadkiel said to himself

"I am Calderas the Infernal Dragon" it replied

"What the dragon spoke" Zadkiel was amazed

The dragon then spits fires directly at Zadkiel but it was too slow for Zadkiel

"Scouts try attacking the same spot over and over again until you manage to wound that monster" Zadkiel ordered

"We're on it" the scouts attack the neck part of the dragon thinking it is the softest part. With an alternate attack sequence, the scouts tried stabbing the dragon's neck

"Just keep that up and I will get his attention" Zadkiel powers up his daggers and charges in

The scouts manage to wound the dragon

"Zadkiel we wounded the dragon" a scout informed

"Good I will take over here" Zadkiel concentrated his power towards his dagger and stabs it directly at the dragon's wound. With that tremendous power, the dragon was electrocuted and dropped to the ground

"Is it over?" A scout asked

"I don't think so" Zadkiel replied

The dragon gets back to its feet and shakes its head

"Told you it wasn't over" Zadkiel then tries the same attack but the dragon begins emitting flames all over its body making it impossible for close contact. Zadkiel decided to fall back and diverse a plan

"Zadkiel what do we do know," the scouts asked as they dodge the dragon's attacks

"I don't know but surely I will think of a plan soon," Zadkiel said

Zadkiel thinks of different scenarios

"If the dragon is affected by my lightning attacks when I stabbed its wound that means the only magic immune is its skin. If only I could strike that spot once more or better the dragon's weak spot I might pull it off but how will I able to strike that dragon when its body is still burning" Zadkiel said to himself

Zadkiel investigates as he dodges the dragon's attacks. He noticed this glowing part near the dragon's throat. When the dragon spits fire. That spot is turning blue as the dragon spits fire. He immediately spread the information to his scouts

"Scouts notice the dragon's throat, it changes color as the dragon spits fire at us. I want to think of a way to pierce that exact spot and I will finish it off with my fully charged dagger" Zadkiel talking to his scouts using a special transmission technique

The scouts tried throwing their range weapons but as soon as it approaches the target it melted

"Zadkiel our weapons just melted" the scouts informed

"Okay then try the spear of light" Zadkiel advised

"But Zadkiel isn't that magic? Surely the dragon will not get affected by such attacks" a scout contradicts

"You're right. And now we are running out of options and we are getting all drained." Zadkiel said

Then a voice spoke to Zadkiel

"Zadkiel thanks for everything and now its time to repay you for all the things you had done for me," the Elite said

The Elite Assassin's spirit touched Zadkiel's forehead. Zadkiel then unleashed a devastating aura it sounded like roaring thunder and lightning covers his wings

"Now is the time to say goodbye" and the Elite Assassin's spirit vanished before Zadkiel's eyes

"Thank you for forgiving me" the last words said by the Elite before he disappeared completely

Zadkiel wiped his tears and gets ready for battle

"Divine Aura Materialize" Zadkiel's aura takes form as a horse-like beast with a longhorn. It is similar to a unicorn

"What is that?" Calderas uncertain about the events

"It is my Divine Beast the Lightning Beast Kirin," Zadkiel said

Zadkiel rides Kirin and charges straightforward to Calderas. Calderas tried attacking the two but Kirin is too fast for Calderas. A charged beam was fired at Calderas but it didn't even make Calderas flinched

"Even with this much power that dragon is still immune to magic. Scouts proceed to the plan" Zadkiel ordered

The scouts tried once more penetrating the dragon's throat but it was too hot to get close

"Zadkiel can you figure out a way to extinguish the fire?" A scout asked

"Let's see" Zadkiel and Kirin tried several attempts to put out the fire but it all failed. Zadkiel is hurt in the process

"If only we could extinguish that dragon's burning skin we can end this I hope," Zadkiel said to himself

Then Zadkiel remembered something. The only magic is drained by that dragon but not physical attack so if I covered my weapons with the lightning element it will not get melted. I think I might pull this off. Don't you think so Kirin"

Kirin shows sign of approval

"Scouts follow my lead" Zadkiel ordered

Zadkiel leads the assault. With a concentrated power in his two daggers, Zadkiel threw one first to see if it works. Then daggers embed themselves to the dragon's throat

"Ways the go Zadkiel" the scouts cheered

Zadkiel then throws his second daggers and the scouts follow Zadkiels lead. But the daggers eventually melted but still they manage to pierce the dragon's skin

"Scouts continue firing using the stars" Zadkiel ordered

The scouts throw alternately stars at the target until blood flowed out the dragon's throat

"I think that is enough," Zadkiel said

The scouts stopped firing

"Now Kirin time to do our part," Zadkiel said

Kirin charges a beam in its horn. It is fully charged, Zadkiel and Kirin charge straight to Calderas' wounded throat. Kirin stabbed its horn against Calderas' throat Zadkiel jumped off and Kirin unleashed the charged beam. Calderas were electrocuted and dropped dead to the ground. The fire was extinguished and the glow from Calderas' throat faded

The Assassin rejoiced as they have slain the dragon

"Good job Kirin now you may take a rest" Kirin transforms into a new set of twin daggers with the Lightning Fragment engraved on it

"Zadkiel the dragon's body is fading" shouted one of his scouts

Zadkiel and the other takes a look at what is happening

In the dragon's throat, the Fire Fragment was hidden as soon as the dragon completely faded Zadkiel grabbed the fragment

"What is that Zadkiel?" A scout asked

"Oh it is just an Elemental Fragment nothing to worry about" Zadkiel answered

"Ohh we almost forgot, we forget to return you these" the scouts showed the lightning fragment that Zadkiel gave them

"Here, we have done our part now is the time to return you these" the scouts' hands over the fragment but Zadkiel refuses to accept it

"But why Zadkiel you said to return these" a scout said

"Yes I said that but all of you have proven worthy of such power. That's why I didn't accept it because from now on those are yours" Zadkiel show his gratitude

"You really meant it Zadkiel" a scout was touched

"Is it really ours?" a scout asked

"Of course do I look like I am joking" Zadkiel replied

The scouts kneel and give thanks to Zadkiel

"Now rise we still have a war to fight. Let's dance" Zadkiel said

Zadkiel and his scouts went to help their allies
