Chamuel duels Leviathan to give his allies time to escape
Before the Archangels escape, Michael blessed Chamuel with protection
"Are you ready to die puny angel?" Leviathan said as he slowly approaches Chamuel
"As a knight, I am always ready to die in battle" Chamuel isn't backing out
Chamuel and Leviathan charge towards each other. Leviathan blocked the attack of Chamuel
"Come on you puny little angel you could do better than that" Leviathan teased
"Angels stay back" Chamuel ordered
As soon as the angels retreated Chamuel's battle stance changes from defense to offense
"That's the spirit you puny little angel" Leviathan seems getting pumped
Leviathan punches Chamuel but it was blocked. Chamuel was pushed backward upon impact. Chamuel quickly launched a counter-attack that directly hit Leviathan's stomach but it didn't pierce through
"Foolish angel" Leviathan slams his two hands directly at Chamuel.
Chamuel dropped to the ground and Leviathan stepped on him
"Forward" Leviathan ordered the undead army
The Elite Knight stepped forward and the other angels followed
Leviathan leads the assault. The two armies clashed and the Elite Knight single-handedly fight against Leviathan
"Do you want to follow your leader you puny little angel?" Leviathan teased
"As a knight, I am glad too," the Elite said
"Then die" Leviathan quickly launched an attack
The Elite dodge it. Leviathan quickly made a counterattack that was easily blocked but upon contact, the Elite was pushed upwards. Leviathan jumped and slams the Elite back to the ground. Leviathan lifts the Elite and throws it towards the other angels. The angels quickly intercepted their Elite and somehow caught it but they were pushed back and the undead army is closing in the angel's territory. Leviathan walking slowly towards the angel's territory then someone tried stabbing him at the back. Leviathan grabbed it and slams it to the ground. It was Chamuel
"Haven't you had enough puny little angel?" Leviathan said and tries to step on him
Chamuel dodges it and quickly gets back to his feet
"Everyone stand back I will handle this even if I die here at least I died fighting" Chamuel ordered
"Then we will join you as well," the Elite said while standing up
"Such foolishness, then mark this place as your graves," Leviathan said raging
Leviathan leads the assault once more and the angels made a defensive stance while the Elite and Chamuel intercepted Leviathan
"This ends now," the two angels said
Leviathan blocked the two attacks and grabbed hold of the knights' swords and threw them from a distance
"Who have no weapons left," Leviathan said with a grin on his face
Lucifer and Jophiel struck the ground from nowhere
The Demon Lords and the angels take a look at what's happening. They saw Lucifer on his knees in front of Jophiel. Then a ray of light is about to strike Lucifer but a shard of ice refracted the ray
The other Archangels had arrived. Jophiel ordered the angels to march forward turning the tables against the Demon Lords.
Belphegor immediately carried Lucifer and brought it to Asmodeus's side
Even with the healing power of Asmodeus, Lucifer hasn't yet had his senses back like he was devastated by what happened
The angels immediately wiped out the front line of the Demon's army leaving the Demon Lords in the front line. None of the angels knew that the second wave of the undead army is fast approaching
With what happened the angels received the Divine Blessing from Jophiel. Every angel has a flame on their forehead
"One my command"
"Charge" Jophiel ordered
The angels march towards the demon's territory
The two knights quickly picked up their swords
"Now Leviathan shall we continue?" The Elite teased
Leviathan retreated
"Archangels use my blessing to surpass the foes capabilities"
"One more thing please don't take any unnecessary actions, remember they still wield a Sacred" Jophiel advised
"What is Sacred Gear Jophiel?" The Elite asked
"Well those are specialized items that enhance one capability" Jophiel answered
"Do you have one?" The Elite asked
"I am using my right now it is known as the Ignited Mind. It enhances the users thinking abilities and I could also ignite others like what I did earlier" Jophiel informed
"Oh you mean this thing," the Elite said as she points out the flame on her forehead
"Well then let's get to business. First Gabriel makes a barrier of Divine Light and Michael blesses it with Divine Protection. You knights just give everything you got to restrain Leviathan. I must go I still have things to settle elsewhere" Jophiel dictated
"Hey, Jophiel are we going to join the fight?" Michael asked
"Answer that for yourself," Jophiel said then flew away
"Well then Jophiel said to do our best right so take this" Chamuel handed over a piece of the Ice Fragment
"Is that even necessary Chamuel?" Michael asked
"Of course, there is no other way to release my Elite's true potential if we hold back right. One other thing is that I can't let my loved ones be hurt in front of me once again. I would gladly give up my life for them" Chamuel said and he meant it
"Chamuel" the Elite Knight was touched
"Well then, let's get a move on Leviathan will not kill himself you know," Chamuel said
The two knights step forward. Chamuel unleashed a strong aura that freezes the ground
"Behold the power of true ice" Chamuel's sword turned into ice
"You should take it from here. I know that you still have things to settle with Leviathan" Chamuel said
"Hey, Chamuel are you really letting her fight? She is not an Archangel" Gabriel seems to disagree
"Don't worry, she can handle it watch her and besides I gave her the biggest piece of my fragment" Chamuel seems confident
The Elite and Leviathan clashed with each other
"It that all you can do Leviathan?" The Elite teased
Leviathan can't manage to counterattack, he only dodges but the Elite is continuously attacking. After some time the Elite is losing agility. Leviathan noticed it and tried attacking the Elite and it connected. The hit pushes the Elite off track
"Looks like you are exhausted. Come on give me everything you got" Leviathan teased
The Elite stood up and made a defensive stance
"Why not attack? Don't tell me that you surrender" Leviathan teased
"As a knight, I will not back down" she then launches an attack. They both clashed once more but now Leviathan manages to keep up with the Elite
The Elite connected a hit but it didn't do anything against Leviathan's body. Leviathan then slams his two hands against the Elite. The Elite dropped down
The Archangels are going to save the Elite but Chamuel stopped them
"Don't, she can handle this" Chamuel said as he stops his allies using his arms
The Elite stood up
"I can't lose" and a strong aura was unleashed by the Elite
"That's it strive harder," Leviathan said then launches an attack
Leviathan's attack is blocked and the Elite counterattack and it connected but still, it didn't do anything. Leviathan tries to slam the Elite once more but it was dodged and another counterattack connected and still nothing.
"Take this" Chamuel throws his sword towards the Elite
"You earned it," Chamuel said with a huge smile
With the sword in hand, the Elite launches an attack. Leviathan tried to block it, but the sword manages to reap Leviathan's flesh. Leviathan falls back
"Good job but not good enough," Leviathan said with a smirk on his face
Leviathan's flesh regenerates immediately
The Elite launches an attack once more but Leviathan just evades the attacks. Using the power of ice the Elite creates a column of ice that blocks the path of Leviathan. The attack connects and the Elite repeats the process but Leviathan just regenerates. After several attempts, the Elite feels exhausted. Leviathan then grabs that opportunity to strike. Chamuel blocked the attack
"Well done my knight you should take a rest for a while. I will handle this from here. You really made me proud but the foe is far way stronger" Chamuel said as he replaces the Elite in battle
"Okay Chamuel, here" the Elite hands over the fragment
"No you should keep it, you have proven worthy of such powers. Now retreat I will take care of this I promise" Chamuel said
Chamuel picks up the sword and fights against Leviathan
"Finally an opponent worthy of my power" Leviathan seems getting pumped
"Guess I have no choice but to use my full power. I warn you Leviathan even if I am the Archangel of Kindness I will show you no mercy" Chamuel said
They both charged each other. Leviathan knowing that the sword is capable of harming him he evades the attacks. Chamuel uses the same technique that the Elite did earlier. Using ice columns to block the path of evasion to connect a hit but instead of slashing, Chamuel stabbed Leviathan. The power of the sword stops Leviathan's regeneration
"It seems my assumption is right. Your flesh is still the same but the liquid excreted by your body is the one capable of your regeneration. That is why by freezing that liquid you are not capable of regeneration" Chamuel informed
"Foolish puny little angel you may cut my healing abilities but you can't stop my power," Leviathan said
"We'll see about that. I'll turn your whole body into ice. Witness the power of the Sword of True Ice" Chamuel said
Chamuel charged Leviathan and his attack connected. Leviathan's left arm is turned into ice
"That's it Chamuel," Leviathan said in a boastful tone
"Something's wrong. Did he really took that hit on purpose" Chamuel fall back
Leviathan assaulted Chamuel. Leviathan's attacks are all blocked and Chamuel counterattack connects but something is off. Leviathan's flesh is getting tougher to penetrate as Chamuel landed another hit.
"I knew it. That armor absorbs magic and turning it into a thick cover. I should have noticed it earlier" Chamuel said to himself
"That's it, you puny little angel. As long as you use your power my armor is getting harder to penetrate" Leviathan said
"I see because his flesh is tough enough to resist a normal blow using magic is the only way to wound him but in this case, if I continued using magic it is over. The only option is" Chamuel said to himself
Chamuel made a defensive stance. Leviathan launches an attack but Chamuel evaded it and stabs Leviathan right in the chest but it didn't pierce through. That attack is just a decoy to turn the whole armor into ice and a follow-up attack charged with elemental powers slashed Leviathan into half. Leviathan's remains turned into ice
The Archangels launch their attack towards the remaining Demon Lords
