I hadn't planned the lie in advance. I knew I had to come up with a good reason to make her leave me. And then she asked me about her future and I realized it was my golden, although honestly stinky rotten, ticket. So I told her she would choose to marry someone else and that her choice was one I would support. It left a sour taste in my mouth.
First she looked shocked and slightly taken aback. Then her expression went completely blank after taking a deep breath which let me see a little more of her two perfect breasts. Good bye, our time was cut too short.
