Rebirth : Apocalypse Hunter

Chapter 1

Its in the mid summer. The sun shone brightly and burning with heat.

The buildings are standing tall with many broken floors and many uneven buildings, protecting the railway from the burning sun. 

By the left of the railway, there is a group of seven, two ladies and five men running with swift movements and cautious eyes. When they are passing the railway, there are a group of eyes paying attention to their movements and like predators with blood red eyes looking at their prey as they salivated. But when the predators with blood red eyes saw their jackets and tattoos on their arms, the group of predators hesitated for a while then they all retreated.

This whole actions didn't pass from the group's vision, when the predators have left many of them relaxed. The group went inside one of the buildings and rest while they opened their weapons and cleaning them.

" Big Bro! See, those pests have gone away thanks to Us joining a powerful base like Base 2099. " a male with brown ash hair smugly smile while straightening His black jacket and said to the man with white jacket.

" Yeah, if it wasn't for Anthony, We will always be stuck in that small poor city! Thanks to Anthony's talent in Ice, We can all move up the ladders. " flattered a girl with a black jacket and green eyes. While the others except for Anthony nodded. All the others except for Anthony is wearing black jackets meaning they are just below level 4 in the genetic levels and talent. 

Anthony Estrada is a level 7 in the genetic levels and talent, capable of ice and wind element. He is a core and important new member of the 2099 Base.

While the others are flattering Himself, Anthony just coldly smile. 

" Anthony, take some water. We still have a couple more miles. " said the lithe lady while blushing. 

After Anthony heard that, He opened the cap and drink the water.  

When they are still talking, there is a lady with black hair and beautiful body running while behind Her there is a horde of Mutated Beast!

She screamed ! " HELPPPP! Anthony!!! Help Me! " while reaching out with Her beautiful soft arms to Anthony's direction.

When everyone seated and standing saw the lady and the horde of mutated beast, they reacted quickly and run while Anthony is still standing there taking His position to aim at the horde of mutated beast. 

When the horde is getting closer and closer, and the lady with black hair have finally reached Anthony with bated breath, She said " Anthony... I'm sorry for doing this again ". Anthony just told Her coldly " You should have been more careful. " then He walked to the horde and started swinging His arms which have froze and many sharp howls of winds have been released to the horde.

When Anthony is fighting alone , the lady with black hair just stood there not helping while She trembles with fear. When more and more mutated beasts died after another hour, the horde seemed to thin out and Anthony started to relax. When Anthony heard a sharp cry and felt His back hurt.

When His eyes started to glance to His stomach, He saw a spear made of water stabbing all the way from His back to His stomach. He just glanced to the side and saw the girl with black hair change Her expression from fear to a smile then He just coldly smile and declared " I didn't really saw that coming from You. "

When He smiled and tried His powers He can feel that some of His powers have been blocked, He understand He was poisoned by the water offered earlier and this spear was poisoned too. He declared, " I won't let any of You go! " after saying those words. He made from the last of His strength a scythe fusing both of His powers and sweep the mutated beast in front of Him. When He saw that almost all the horde have been eliminated, Anthony relaxed His guard and opened His left pocket to take some pills.

When He is drinking those pills, there is a huge explosion from the place the lady with black hair. When Anthony saw who it was, His heart fell apart. It's His own Father!

Then His father hold His lover's waist and said. " Anthony, I believe You haven't known this. I'm grateful for the experience this far. I will thank You with My way though. " After saying those words, Anthony realized something and put His guard up, but it was far too late. There is many small and sharp weapons heading to Him in layers, suddenly a sharp glint have passed His defenses and went to His neck. Making His neck bleed. 

After being hurt like that Anthony just smiled but when Anthony saw His Father's expression. Anthony know there is more to this matter.

Anthony suddenly feel His limbs getting weaker and weaker. Then His eyesight started to blacken. What Anthony saw the last before losing consciousness is His Father waving His hands and His eyes with a mocking expression. 

After a few moments that feels like days. Anthony was awaken in darkness. Anthony can see He was placed in a small room with only a little bed lamp. Anthony started to feel His body, when He see His body is chained and Half of His body is gone.

He realized His body must have been destroyed by something else. When He tried to heal Himself, He can't seem capable to feel His powers anymore. After looking at His state, He just sighed. 

When He is done accepting His situation, He stayed silent and after a few hours of thinking and self-introspecting He could hear sounds of footsteps from outside of His room. With a laugh, the owner of the footsteps opened the door and the light from behind the door pierced the room shadowing the owner of the footstep, but Anthony wont forget the sound coming afterwards

" Anthony oh dear Anthony, such a pitiful man. You wasted Your talents, life, and feelings to build something that can't even be eaten! This is why You should've followed Me! " the voice sounded with mockery and despise.

" Ptui ! " Anthony just spat on the floor hearing those mocking judgement from this man.

" I believe that I was strong enough. But I guess I was to confident in My powers that there have been many stupid doubts and mindset among My so called teammates and family. " Anthony said through gritted teeth and shaking His head. While the man standing before the opened door just shook His head and walked to the left side of Anthony's broken body.

He opened His coat, and below the coat there are many tools with sharp edges. small needles, and many small knifes. When the man finished tidying the tools He brought with Him, His eyes shone with a crazed look and said " Anthony, I never believe I could get My hands on Your beautiful and strong body! " with a flirty smile the man started to take the small needles and place them on Anthony's vital spots to stop the bleeding.

Then after the bleeding stopped, Anthony's face turn ice cold and sneered looking at the tool on the man's arms. " Maverick! I never thought it was always with You! Damn You! I wish You rot in HELL!! " Anthony hysterically shouted. " I also never expected this small dagger to make You lost Your calm and collected front. But~ What will You feel when Your beloved Mother's dagger is used as a torture weapon for You? I can't stop shivering from Your reactions!!! " the man called Maverick trembled while His face turns red from ecstasy. 

" Alright, enough of the nonsense. I was only given twelve days to enjoy Our sweet time. So don't worry I wont hold back!!! Hihhihihihii " Maverick shrieked crazily with pure joy in His green colored eyes.

" Arghh!! " Anthony screamed when His Mother's dagger was stabbed deep in His heart. And Maverick cried and cried with a big joyful smile on His face. " Anthony! Scream! More! Scream to Your heart's content!!! There is eleven more days to go My dearest Anthony!!! " Maverick shouted with glee on His tone and encouraging Anthony again and again making Anthony to tremble in disgust with His crazy and maniac actions.

Screams and more screams was let out by Anthony from that room. The scream continued and became more desperate and hysterically.

Maverick used small needles, small knifes, small daggers, burning metals, cold water, guns and many other items.

Anthony was gagged for a whole three days from the day Maverick entered. Then after those three days Maverick used sharp needles on Anthony's tongue and forcefully making Anthony scream

After twelve whole days, Anthony died.
