Alice POV:

I heard Alex's voice ring up to me and I looked down doing to he suddenly jumped back slightly making me feel taken aback slightly.

Even when I ask if he was ok he stood there for a couple minutes not responding making me worried for some reason.

When Alex finally spoke up as he ran his hand through his hair, "I was just a little shocked...I don't think you meant it or if it was even intentionally done....your eyes where just golden for a moment there".

He watched my closely as my face had gone pale and I felt like I was going to throw up.

Probably realizing I was ready to flea off somewhere in the house Alex yelled, "WAIT!"

I looked down at him not sure what he could possibly say to make me stay, "I know you did not mean to in anyway! So please don't take it to heart", he pleated.

I was not to sure if I believed him - I mean who would not be afraid of something like me - there goes my plan to ask for help.

"I'm sorry - it just shocked me is all", Alex pleated trying to get me to continue talking.

I looked at him sadly, "I don't want to scare you...and did not know I was even doing it in the first place", I finished pulling my knees to my chest putting my head down hiding my face.

"Alice", Alex pleated trying to get me to look at him again, "I'm sorry, I did not mean to upset you".

I placed my chin on my knees glad my hair was covering my face, "How can I truly believe what you are saying when you just lied - what can I believe if you lie once who's to say you'll not lie again?"

Fighting back tears, "And you just proved to me that my father was right about my lack of control of my hold on my powers", I finished putting my head back down.

"ALICE", Alex said trying desperately to get me to look at him, "I never meant that - I don't want to hurt you or lie, I'm sorry I never meant to hurt you".

I heard my phone chime right at that moment, I looked towards my bed seeing the little green light beep saying that I had a new message.

"What was that", Alex asked worriedly not knowing what the noise that just happened.

"One Sec", I said getting to my feet grabbing my phone unlocking it and looking at the new message seeing it was from Serena.

"You ok? You need me to get ride of this person?" I felt a small smile at the corner of my mouth.

Hitting reply I sent, "I should be ok...I thought you where going to give me space...? "

"I will - but still will have to stay around just in case - but not needing to be in eye sight or hearing rang", Serena replied back.

Alex POV:

I think I f*ed up, she had hidden herself with her knees and her hair helped cover her in a blanket.

Trying to plead she looked up but not at me and replied, but then looked back down hiding her face once again.

Then I heard a wired chiming sound and she looked up towards the sound making me worried what was going on.

"What was that?" I asked getting ready to go into protective mode not knowing what was happening.

She got up looking away still and said quietly, "One sec", before leaving out of my sight making me feel anxious and my wolf on high alert.

I heard light wired bubble sound coming up from the room - what was going on in there.

After waiting for a couple seconds I could not take it anymore, "Everything ok?"

There was silence for a couple seconds making me more anxious but the second before she reappeared.

My heart calmed down slightly at the sight of her resitting down and my wolf seeming to take a breath.

"Is everything alright?" I asked watching her closely.

She smiled weakly, "Yeah...a friend messaged me", she replied sitting back down.

"Messaged you...?" I asked completely confused what she meant.

"Right....you don't have cellphones here", Alice replied more to herself, "It's like sending a....note...", she replied trying to figure out the right words.

I tried thinking what she meant, "Like on paper?"

She laughed lightly melting my heart, "Kinda...but not really - it's something that does not require paper or anything", she held up a little black object that I've seen those humans have with a shine on one side.

"This is a mobile phone - like ever human has one", Alice said turning it to face her pushing a button on the side making her face illuminate with a light.

As I watched her fingers flow over the screen and I saw that here eyes seemed to be following whatever she was looking at on thhe screen - I could not help but to notice the small smile that was forming at the corners of her mouth.

I wanted so badly to know what was making her smile like that - even in a small amount.

"Sorry", Alice replied, "Another friend messaged me back to see if I was still free in a little bit".

"Oh", I replied feeling my face fall at her reply and my wolf whine in my head sadly.

"It won't be for like another hour", Alice replied making me more excited to be about to spend that time with her.

Alice rubbed her arm looking down at the phone object that she had placed down Infront of her she sighed heavily, "As for your question the other day...."

I felt my heart start skipping faster at what she might say as her reply - I have been very on edge for this moment.

My wolf was all ears even more then he had been since we had found are mate, I waited patiently waiting for her reply.
