Unwanted Start Of Something New

Serena POV:

I knew even before the announcement that s**t was going to hit the fan and it was going to hit the fan hard and soon, because I could sense - no I could smell that bloody angel within the school property. and yeah I bet you're wondering how I could sense that, which normally I wouldn't give to flying flips of f**k, but this case I don't care.

So to make you happy and what not I should explai - I'm a demon, and I bet you're wondering why the f**k would have demon being hanging out with a half breed? I mean she's all right and I don't care - but my boss does, for she is his favorite niece... well only niece really - but still his favorite.

So I end up getting the task of basically watching out for her. First I hated the idea I mean what demon in their right mind would want to be stuck with you halfling? But as time went by I got used to it and actually enjoy hanging out with her cuz she's not like other dumb s**t angels.

And yeah it's kind of my fault I f**ked up real bad with my assignment, so I ended up having to earn a second chance henceforth that is why I babysit the halfway. Which is not all that bad like I said she's not the worst and she's actually okay to hang out with.

But anyways like I was saying I knew s**t was going to happen today because felt him on the property, I knew her bloody father was here...ugh, I really hate Angels shits! And this one could be the worst at times, and that's only if he was having a good day.

As Alice was called to the office I knew in my gut that's something explosive was going to happen and happens soon, because I knew that she had a lot of resentment towards her father, he basically in her book abandoned her - yeah she doesn't really know that he's actually always been there looking out for her along with a couple of her uncles like my boss for example.

She always thought he didn't care about her since he never showed himself to her or her wrote or even messaged her or even tried to get a hold of her, but truthfully he was doing that to save her from his siblings because a lot of them don't want to have things around, they just won only pure angelic beings.

At least with all the demons we don't give a s*** if you're half or your full fledge demon we just care whether or not you can collect the souls of the living and correct them - the more we get the higher our position and powers can be, so yeah we prefer to collect as many as we can, and we don't care who gets hurt along the way.

Alice POV:

If it wasn't for the humans within this room I would have probably blown sky high, he decides to finally show up after all these years in my school, no notification that he was even bothering to show up in the first place, nothing not even a call saying "hey I'm going to stop by today".

It would be an understatement to say that I was pissed, at that very moment I really wanted to just punch something and scream, I mean what gives him the right to just show up out of the blue and act like he loves me or whatever with a hug and stuff and be saying that he's happy to see me.

"Alice I understand if you might be upset - but I really need to talk to you", he said waving his hand slightly making the staff got up from what they were doing and walked out of the building like it was a normal thing they needed to do. I knew he used his powers on them to get them out of the building.

Truthfully I think he did it because he could see - no more like he could feel that I was pissed off at him. and I think that's the only good thing he's ever really done.

"Why I even want to talk to you haven't even been in my life, you have not even once!" I snapped at him, but he didn't seem to be hurt or anything by it. In fact he seemed to just stand there with the same sad smile on his face watching me closely.

"I understand that I've hurt you.That you feel like I've abandoned you, but I want you to know and I know you probably won't believe it I never abandoned you I've never forgotten about you, and I'm here today because your uncle Raphael has found out that you're alive - that you even exist", he replied slowly letting me have the chance to fully realize what he was saying, and to let it fully sink in the danger that now I faced.

"So what now I have to drop everything and go into more hiding or what just let him killing me?" I replied noticing that at the part about killing me it seemed like you was about to break.

"No, in fact I've already spoken with Michael and he has agreed with me as long as you're in the supernatural realm you would be considered safe, but if you stay here I'm afraid not even his blessings can save you", was all he could say before there was a loud explosion somewhere outside the doors, making him move in front of me to protect me. His large gold wings expanded out in front of me as dust flew past us.

Alex POV:

I waited until the guard fell asleep, they really needed to upgrade their security personnel of the borders having the same people everyday doesn't really help them out. And I knew he would pass out around now, he always did I mean can't blame on me where it's 24-hour shifts because I don't have a lot of people. the life of a security guard not only for me I can definitely tell you that one.

Once I heard that his reading went even and he seemed to have relaxed I snuck past him entering into the human lands which are a lot like ours but let's just say they're not at the same time I don't know how to put it fully. You would just have to be there to experience it I think you could feel the magic from the supernatural lands rather than the human which seemed I don't know dead, I can't put it into words I don't know it's confusing.

But anyways that's not the point, the point was I still needed to find my mate, and I knew - how I knew I can't tell you - she was in trouble, and I had a sinking feeling I needed to get to her, to save her, to protect her. And I can't tell you how I knew - I just knew it was all I can tell you.

I ran through the large field sniffing to make sure that I wasn't being followed but also keeping an ear out for other noises of the supernatural hunters for they were the most dangerous being out there are kind can ever find.

Right off the bat I can tell you it would be devastatingly destructive if they found one of the few entrances supernaturals have in between the human lands, it would just be a bloodbath. So I can tell you right now I would always have to be in high alert when going from land to land for I don't want to be the cause of so much death.

And it's not like our people can't fight and defend ourselves, it's just that once one Hunter finds the entrance word spreads fast between them and then it just becomes an all-out nightmare. Luckily we've never had that incident where somehow they found us. the only time they ever do are when we leave our land to this - they're lands.

That's one of the reasons why it is forbidden unless absolutely necessary and as to why I'm having to sneak in constantly to find my mate within these lands, because we fear that the hunters will find us - and end us like they've done too many who've been out here.
