“Ximena,” Xylon, her father, called her again when he remembered something. He glanced at his daughter, who was now looking at him, “I’ve heard you killed another low-ranking Mafia again. Is it true?”
“Yes, Dad. They hindered my path again, so I had no choice but to stab him in his chest using my dagger,” she uttered lazily, to which her dad, Xylon, shook his head.
“Ximena, can’t you behave for at least weeks? You’re trying to eliminate all of the low-ranking Mafia,” he pleaded.
Ximena grinned, but her eyes did not reach it. Unlike her father, when he's with his family, he constantly has emotions in his eyes. She doesn't show emotion in her eyes. Her opponents would tremble at the sight of her icy, penetrating gaze.
“They didn’t know me, Dad,” she retorted.
Xylon gave an astonished shake of his head. Since she is still the heiress, but not all of the Mafia are aware of her, but after she inherits the throne, they will all kneel to her because they recognize her status as ruler.
In the corporate industry, Traviesco is the wealthiest and most powerful person, while Del Valle comes in second.
In addition to holding the top spot in the business community, Traviesco's Mafia Boss is the world's most vicious and deadliest Mafia. Because of his combat competence, successful negotiations, and business endeavors, he goes by the alias Leviathan.
Ximena has yet to meet him personally. His face is still concealed. He will use his mask to hide his identity when he is dealing with other Mafia members or his customers.
It's risky for him to show his face. Because of their success in his businesses—legal or illicit—everyone wanted to assassinate him and take over his organization.
His numerous allies are dispersed around his home, places of business, hideout, and property.
It's protected as well. More secure than the technology and organization of Ximena. All of it was made possible by his ally, Lynden's opponent, the Trujillo family heir.
“You don’t have to kill them just because they didn’t know you, Ximena,” Xylon explained, trying to insert it into his daughter’s mind.
“But he will kill me, Dad.” Ximena rolled her eyes and rested her back on her swivel chair. “I can’t let that happen. He even tried to punch my face. Good thing I blocked it right away.”
Xylon just gave himself a forehead massage and intended to get out of there.
His security guard reported the incident to Xylon. As the head of their organization, he has the respect and devotion of his group's members.
Ximena looked at her customer, who was beaming at her, and put her hands in her pockets.
“Hey, Miss Del Valle,” he greeted when he saw Ximena enter the dark room.
The man requested magic mushrooms, ketamine, and ecstasy. Thus, they will be doing business again with the illicit substances.
He owns a renowned club. He ran out of supplies, which is why he booked the drug order.
These drugs were frequently provided anytime a customer requested a drink, but recently, he ended up running out of supplies because countless of his clients showed up every day.
He looked at Ximena with lustful eyes, but she was wearing her signature poker face, as usual.
She swiftly glanced at the man, who had a whole crap in his eyes as he was staring at her. She stares at the man from his face to his lower body, feeling repulsed by what she witnessed.
He's not that attractive. He is a senior. Older than her dad. He had an awful face, a spooky smile, and an enlarged stomach.
Ximena then grabbed her revolver and aimed it at him, startling him with the abrupt movement.
He placed his hands up in the air, yet his smile remained despite being obscene and unsettling.
Lynden pulled a pistol from his pocket as well and aimed it at the man. Their distance from the man is only a few meters.
Because Ximena had bodyguards by her side, they also felt worried when they sensed a change in Ximena's aura.
“Relax, Miss Del Valle,” the old man uttered, trying to calm her down.
“You know that I don’t tolerate that kind of stare,” she tried to remind him.
As his bodyguards raised their firearms at Ximena, the older guy licked his lips and c****d his head.
When Lynden saw their rifles pointed in Ximena's direction, he couldn't help but clench his teeth. When he did that, his jaw became even more prominent.
Even though his eyes were chilly, they were showing emotion that would not have been apparent if they hadn't attempted to stare at it.
There was much hate in there.
“Miss Del Valle, there’s nothing wrong with staring at you with full of admiration—”
Ximena shot him in the forehead after pulling the trigger multiple times.
In an attempt to save Ximena, Lynden and her bodyguards quickly shot the bodyguards of the older man in the head.
“Destin, are you okay?” Lynden spoke as he approached Ximena, but she pulled back, averting physical touch with her ally.
“Clean that mess,” Lynden gulped hard when Ximena slid her pistol into her pocket without glancing at him.
“We need to get out of here,” Ximena said. “I still had a lot of paperwork to do.”
They are on their way home now since they have cleaned up her mess. She wanted to reduce her paperwork so she could have additional training, even though she was sufficiently powerful.
But for an unknown reason, her mother linked her signal to her earpiece.
“Ximena,” her mom said.
“Mom?” Ximena feels dazed since her mother unexpectedly linked her signal to her.
They usually chat in their hideout or residence, but today was unusual. Her heart was pounding so fast, and she wasn't sure why.
“Is there something wrong?” she raised a question.
Her mom chuckled, “Nothing happened. I just wanted to say that I’m so proud of you. All of your training before when you were a kid was all worth it.”
Ximena’s forehead crumpled as she heard what her mom said. She knew that something was strange, but she couldn’t point it out.
“Mom, why are you saying this all of a sudden?” Ximena shook her head while her eyes were on the road.
“Because I didn’t say that before, so I’m saying this now,” her mom explained. “I love you, Ximena.”
“I love you too, mom,” Ximena responded. “Do you want me to fetch you in your company?”
But before her mom could speak, the signal was interrupted.
