After dinner was over, we got back on the road, since we can’t really rest for very long. For a change, I’m sitting in the front, so I can see where we’re going, no longer closing myself off from the outside world.
I’m starting to get way too nervous to sleep and I’ve basically done nothing but sleep for the last two days, ever since we started driving. The closer we get to the city, the more nervous and anxious I get.
If everything goes well, we’ll see Zack and Max soon. Hopefully already tomorrow. That thought fills me with equal parts excitement and nervousness. They’ve been away from us for nearly two months, and now I’ll finally see them again.
