Chasing the Storm

Ellie Anders is a girl who has gone through every horrible thing imaginable. Her parents died when she was small, she lived with the alcoholic uncle and then was moved around from foster care to foster care. Surprisingly enough, Ellie was a good girl with good grades. She graduated as her class' valedictorian. Nicholas Wilkes is your standard Ivey League college boy. His parents have all of the money in the world, their only rule is that he makes it through college top of his class with at least a 3.5 GPA. Nicholas doesn't see any trouble in this because he is a smart guy. However, he mixes with some of the wrong guys and his grades begin to take a hit. How are these two relevant to one another?
