Loving Dr Right

"Well, here I am!" I say to myself whilst I'm walking towards a very tall and heavenly white building with two stained glass sliding doors that seem to have a mind of their own. I stepped over the threshold of the building, as I entered, I notice pure white walls that looked elegant as if I've just entered the gates of heaven. As soon as I walk in right Infront of me was the reception desk and all I can hear is the phone ringing. On the left side off the reception was the waiting area, with two rows of pale blue plastic seats that are so uncomfortable and guaranteed to make your bum numb, there are rows off windows shining light on all the people in the waiting room. A long corridor sat right of the waiting room leading to a different part of the hospital. On the right side of the reception desk and opposite the waiting room was the heart of the hospital. Well before we continue let me tell you a bit about who I am, my name is Skylar Marie Grey, I stand at 5ft5. I wouldn't say I'm tall but wouldn't say I'm small either so let's say I'm average for my age. I have long wavey fiery ginger hair that is pinned nightly into a bun. As for my body, I have that type of body with a slim stomach but curves in all the right places. I do have some muscles though, from hitting the gym. I'm 26, and I've worked hard to get to where I am and who I am, anyways less about me and continue with the story. The reception desk was made of marble and looked organised, behind the desk sat a young well-groomed woman, with platinum blonde hair that is combed neatly into a giant bun on top of her head with a few stay hairs flowing to compliment her face. When I approached the desk, the young receptionist moved her eyes from the computer to me, they were this deep blue colour that as soon as she looks at you it’s like she is looking into your soul and she just glanced and then spoke in a very pleasant tone " Welcome to Springwell Hospital, my name is Amanda, how may I help you?" I just stared and quickly regained my focus to the women who seemed to be waiting for my reply, I finally cleared my Sahara Desert dry throat and answered, "I'm Skylar Gray, it's my first day today". She didn't say a word and went back to her computer screen and continued typing until I heard her pleasant voice again " we have been waiting for your arrival Miss Grey, you will be working on the children's ward, I'll just contact the Dr who will be showing you around", I just nodded and answered nervously "Thank you, ....... Shall I just wait here then??" The women smirked and picked up the intercom, "can Dr Carter please come to reception thank you". All I heard was the loud and ear aching speakers that hung in the corner of the room. I waited in reception for what felt like an hour, I looked and my wrist which a pink and blue striped watch was situated, it reads 9:45 at that point, I'm thinking to myself ‘where is this person, are they female or male, am I going to be late’. Then I heard a deep masculine but soft voice, I couldn’t quite make out was being said, so I looked up and saw this strong shoulder built but slim stomach, you can see that he works out and looked amazing, dreamy, and luscious in blue scrubs. He stood at the desk talking to the receptionist, he had short black hair that was messy, as if he ran his hands through way too many times, and it was wet and shiny like someone but glitter all over his hair and from the looks of it he had just came out of the shower. The drops dripped from this man's head and dripped down his masculine arms finally dropping to the floor,[i] he was a little taller than me give or take and when he turned around to face me, our eyes met all I saw was emerald, green eyes staring back and looking me up and down. It felt as if he is undressing me with those lustful eyes. He approached me in three strides and held his hand out for me, " Hi, I'm Dr Carter" he spoke like angels singing as his voice was flowing, " You must be the new nurse on the children's ward I'm guessing" I was speechless, honestly my mind was going thousands of miles per hour and I couldn't think correctly, all that came out my mouth was " I'm.....I'm Skylar, please call me sky for short if you wish, I mean you don’t have to, I know how formal people can get." He looked at me with a lustful smile. “Please if you follow me Nurse Grey, I will show you where you will be working" he said with just the roll of the tongue in a heavenly song by Dr Carter, I followed this man that was sent by the gods, as we walked through corridors and passing offices until we reached the other side of the hospital. Dr Carter stopped abruptly and then he shifted on his heel to turn to me, he spoke gently " well Miss Grey here we are, this is the children's ward, if you need me, I'll be on ward 6" he winked and slowly walked the opposite direction his head was hung low and he was shaking it right and left as if he was trying to get an image out of his head. My eyes just followed him until he turned the corner, I secretly hoped that he would turn around and look at me.
