Chapter Nine As soon as my alarm goes off, I click on the app which will open the blinds just enough to let in some air, but not enough for any remnants of the sun to reach in and burn my skin. I love the feel of fresh air brushing against my skin too much to leave them closed until I have to. I wish I could open them further, but I can't risk it. At least there isn't long until the evening siren, then I can open them completely. I stretch out my arms and legs, loosing the sleep from my body.
