Chapter Sixteen
The resistance headquarters is bustling today. Which makes sense. With the thirtieth anniversary approaching, there's a lot of intelligence which needs gathering, and things put in place. The vampire elite are busier than ever too, which means those of us whose job it is to tail them are having to do more.
As much as I'm disappointed I don't have as much down time with Oscar, I'm grateful to be able to do something that makes a real difference rather than simply sitting and waiting.
