Months passed and Laurel’s new headquarters looked and functioned like the Fortune 1000 company it was. The corporate move went as smoothly as could be expected. The twenty-story building located in downtown Dallas had more technological advances and efficiencies than their Miami building, which was a refreshing change. The Corticelli paperwork finalized the prior week, so that transition would soon be underway. Brandon moved into a condo in a secure building close to the office; those were his main two requirements and little else mattered.
