Chapter 11

Jade's POV

I can see the cliff now, I pulled my sword out. I look around and I see the girls laying against a boulder. They don't look good, they were given something, I don't know what. I start walking to them. I barely blocked the sword, I pushed him back and looked at our attacker. And all I see is red, I charged the man who killed my parents. We fought blow after blow.

***Six In The Morning***

I knocked his sword from his hand, but as I did that I felt a stap in my stomach, "Hahaha! You are still pathetic. You will never defeat me!" He then pulls the knife out, I fall to the ground with my hand on my wound to stop the blood, as he walks away still laughing. I used my strength to crawl to the girls, and I see them start having trouble breathing. I change back to my normal clothes and grabbed my phone. I called Aaron.

Ring ... Ring ... Ring ... Ring ...

Aaron's POV

It is 6a.m. I'm on the training field starting our warm ups, when I fell to the ground from an intense pain in my side. My eyes go wide with shock and fear "JADE!" Blaze and I shout. Then Ring ... Ring I looked at my phone I got up and ran to it. Ring ... Ring.

I grabbed it 'Jade' I answered it "Jade where are you?" "I... cliff... near you." She is breathing hard as she talk. I felt my heart squeeze at what I heard. "Hang on! I'm on my way." I turned to the warriors "Get the doctor now!" I didn't wait for a response or for the doctor. I ran to the cliff with fifty of my warriors.

We reached the cliff and I see Jade and the girls, I sniffed the air quickly, I detected a males scent, his long gone. I ran to my mate, I gently rolled her over into my arms, I hear her grown. "I'm sorry. Jade can you hear me?" She looks at me and smiles. The doctor shows up along with two others they grab the girls and runs back to the hospital. I was about to do the same, "No! Get the box labeled cure, from my bag." I see the doctor shack her head "We need to get you to the hospital now miss!" "No! Get the damn box. I won't make it to your damn hospital!" The doctor grabs the bag and looks inside I see her looking at different boxes, then she turns with a box in her hand and a set of keys. "Good! Now find the key with matching color with the box. She does and unlocks the box there are a lot of Medicine viles inside, "The second row from you. Get a syringe take every drop from the vile and injected into me." "What? No!" I was scared. She looks at me "I'll be fine. I need the whole thing." She grips her side in pain. I look at the doctor "Do it!" She nods her head grabs a syringe and fill it with everything. Then she takes the air out and shot it in my mate. After that she pack up her bag and we run to the hospital.

Once inside they take her from me and into surgery.

I went to the waiting room. Just as I sat down the doctor came back. "What's wrong?" She smiles "Nothings wrong. Your mate is almost healed and all her vitals are strong. We moved her to the Alpha wing." As soon as she said that I was out of that room and running towards the Alpha's wing. I enter her room and find her sitting up. I walk over and hugged her. "I thought I was going to loss you." I say while crying. She hugs me back "I'm sorry. I'm fine I promise."

We stayed like that until I fall asleep.

Jade's POV

I'm sitting here with Aaron laying next to me while we hug each other. He fell asleep from all the crying.

I'm just watching him sleep while I run my hand through his hair, the sparks just flying everywhere.

You know the first time I saw Aaron was when I first arrived. I just finished getting my room, I left to do some searching. I arrived at the park from yesterday, he was there with two other guys. the other two were shooting daggers at he with their eyes, while he looked at them with a cold blank stare. His eyes were cold, like hard cut emeralds. It scared the crap out of me, at the same time it turnedme on.

I heard the door open, I looked up and see the doctor from earlier walk in. I put my finger to my mouth as she looks over, she sees Aaron and nods her head. Then she walks up to me and checks my stomach with a little trouble. "You are completely healed. Surprising for a human." She says the last part almost under her breath, if we Asgardian's didn't have good hearing I wouldn't have heard. "By the way, why did you want me to give you that pink liquid before bringing you here?" "The knife that I was stabbed with had a poison on it. Called B.N.B.H. which is short for 'Blocking Normal Body Healing' and the pink liquid is the only cure." Her eyes pop out and her jaw drops. She quickly recover "Well, you should get some rest before you are discharged."

I nod my head. I get comfortable and fall asleep.

***Four Hours Later***

Jade's POV

I wake up to muffled voices. I open my eyes and see Aaron is gone. I sit up and look at the end of the bed and see Aaron talking to a doctor, I hear "What do you mean the girls haven't completed recovered?" I see the doctor lower her head, "I'm sorry Alpha. We cleared all the wolfsbane from their system but their breathing is not returning to normal!" Aaron turns and looks at me his eyes go wide, "Jade your awake." he says as I get out of bed, I also notice the doctor's face go white. "You shouldn't get up-" "I'm fine completed healed." I smiled at him, then I grabbed my bag and turned to the doctor "I would like to see the girls!" she looks at Aaron, "I'll take you." he grabs my hand and leads me out of the room down the hall that was empty, through some double doors then into a hall that was almost jammed pack with patients and doctors. We reached a door we walked through "AL... Mr. Whitestone, thank you for coming." "Mr. Jackson this is Detective Jade Starlight, she was the one who find them. Jade this is Hector & Hayley Jackson, and this two little girls are theirs." I look at them with a small smile, "I'm glad I was able to help, well it be all right if I have a look at them?" Hayley looks at me "Yes!"

I walk up to them and set on the edge of the bed. Just then we hear a knock on the door, Aaron opens it and in walks the doctor that help me. She saw me and smiles "Glad to see you up and moving!" Then she stopped smiling "What is wrong?" Hector asked "I got the text results back, they were injected with something I've never seen before." "Can I see the results?" I asked the parents, they nod their heads, the doctor hands me the folder, I look at it. With then seconds my face pales. "What's wrong?" the doctor asks, as I grab my bag. "They were injected with B.N.H.B." I tell her as I get two syringe ready. Her face goes white, "With what?" the other three asked at the same time. As I inject the cure, "B.N.H.B. stands for 'Blocking Normal Body Healing'. Jade had it earlier, the pink liquid is the only cure." Just as the girls breathing went back to normal.
