Chapter 12

Jade's POV

The doctor went to check on the girls. Aaron and I leave the room, he took me outside I turned to Aaron "I have to call my brother." he looks at me confused "Your brother? Don't you mean your Captain?" I smile "My brother is my Captain." his face gets an 'O' shape. I chuckle "K, follow me."

Aaron leads me to the huge house, then to a office. "This is my office you can use it to make your call. Are you hunger?" As soon as he said that my stomach growled, we chuckled "I'll take that as yes!" I nod my head, he walks out. When he closed the door I grabbed my phone and dialled Hunter.

Ring ... Ring

Hunter: "Jade, are you all right?"

Me: "Yes, but I ran into HIM!" I hear him intake some air.

Hunter: "Are you sure?"

Me: "Yes! He had two little girls with him, they were injected with B.N.H.B and wolfsbane."

Hunter: "What? Are they OK? Do I need to send our Uncle?"

Me: "You heard me. Yes. And no. They have doctors who know how to handle wolfsbane, and I covered the B.N.H.B."

Hunter: "What about you?"

I see the door open and Aaron walks in with a tray of food.

Aaron's POV

After I left Jade in my office, I went to the kitchen and found my Aunt cooking tamales. "Mmm, that smells so good!" I tell her, I kiss her on the cheek. "Glad to hear, as always. Now cut the chicken and start making the chicken salad!" she orders me. I salute and turned to work on the salad. While I did that she made Mac & Cheese.

***30 Minutes Later***

I'm giving a tray full of everything with two glasses of milk. "Thank you Aunty." She smiles and kisses my cheek, "Your welcome. Now get back to your mate." I laugh "Yes ma'am."

I walk back to my office, I hear her still talking so I opened the door as quietly as possible. After I close the door I noticed her staring at me and smile.

Jade: "I'm fine. I got a little hurt but nothing I couldn't handle." I looked at her with my eyebrow raised, she sticks her tongue out at me.

Unknown Male: "Yeah, so who did you call this time?"

I hear Jade laugh "You know me so well. I called this guy I meet here, His name is Aaron Whitestone."

The Unknown Male said something in a language I've never heard before, then Jade did the same.

Jade: "Hunter! I well! I love you. I talk to you later he's back with some food."

Hunter: "Sigh. Alright, I love you too.

She hangs up and but her phone away, walks over and sits on the couch next to me. "I'm sorry about that!" I turned to her, "No need to apologize. He was just looking out for you. Remember I'm an older brother too, so I know we're he is coming from." She smiles at me then turns to the food. "Tamales! I love tamales!" Blaze did a happy dance in my head. We ate everything on the tray.

"So who attacked you and the girls?" She sighs, "I'm not ready to talk about him, yet." I nod my head, "I understand." She smiles then stands "I should get going. I still have a criminal to find." I stand up "Right, remember if you need anything call." She nods her head and walks to the door "I well." then she was gone. I cleaned up everything and took it to the kitchen, "I'll take that Alpha." one of our omega's says I smile at her and hand her the tray. "Thank you. How is your day so far?" She looks at me shocked "Fine sir. Thank you for asking." I smiled again and went to the fridge to get a bottle of water, then I went back to my office to do some paperwork.

***Noon***

I have an appointment with an Alpha in a few minutes, Alpha LionHeart, his, the LionHeart pack has been dealing with rogues for about a month now. He has lost a lot of warriors and a few non-Warriors to them, so he is here seeking help. "Aaron, the Alpha is here." I hear Ben link me, "Bring him to my office." I tell him. I quickly make sure my mates scent is no loner in the room. I get behind my desk, just as the door opens, in walks my Beta Ben and the Alpha. My face goes blank and cold, my eyes as hard as cut emeralds, I reach my hand out "Good Afternoon, Alpha LionHeart how can I help you?" Alpha LionHeart walks over and grabs my hand "Alpha Whitestone, thank you for seeing me. We have been attacked by rogues every day for a month." I stare at him "Every day?" He looks at me, "Yes! Every day, from sun up to sun down." I look at Ben, "They never attack during the night?" "No, we thought it was weird at first, we stayed awake the whole night but nothing. One night we decided to do a night attack on them, when it started getting dark they fell back we followed them but lost them, we searched the whole forest near our pack but didn't find them. We got back just as the sun was coming up and there they were." I turned back to him, "We well see if we can help you with them. We leave now." We stood up and walked outside, 150 of my warriors were all ready to go. We shifted and ran to the LionHeart pack. Ben stayed behind to watch my pack.

***Two Hours Later***

We arrived at 2p.m. but there is no fighting I shifted back as well as Alpha LionHeart "Where is everyone?" that is when I feel something prick my neck, I reached to my neck and pull out a dart I looked at my warriors they were on the ground unconscious "IT WAS A TRAP!" I managed to say before passing out.

Ben's POV

"IT WAS A TRAP!" I heard "Aaron! We are on our way!" I get no response. I send every non-Warrior to the island for safety. I send 200 warriors with them and I leave 200 at the pack, while I take the rest with me a total of 400 warriors. We ran to the directions we were given but it was empty, it was a pack but it was destroyed a long time ago. I started sniffing around, the scent from the cliff is here. "Beta, we picked up Alpha LionHeart and our warriors scent." Jay one of the trackers said. "Lead the way." We ran for 30 minutes, we came across another pack. I shifted and we walked up to the pack house. Out came Alpha LionHeart, he was smiling, like a kid on Christmas day when he saw me, but he stopped smiling and turned white when he saw the warriors behind me, before smiling again still white. "So you came with the rest of your warriors just like I thought you would. Tsk, tsk. Leaving the unarmed all by themselves." I smile this time "Who said I brought all our warriors?" His smile drops again. "Were are our warriors?" "Bring th... cough... Bring them out!" Four warriors left, then came back with our warriors once they are with the others, I turn back to the Alpha "Now we're is our Alpha?" He swallows hard, "I don't know some guy took him." I balled my feast up in anger "You better hope we find him alive, because if we don't I'm coming back to kill you." We turned and left we went home and started searching for Aaron.
