Chapter 6

Aaron's POV

I sat in my office doing work, never ending. Anyway you are probably wondering why I am running background checks on two harmless humans? That's the thing their not human or shifters or anything I know of. And not finding anything on them has me worried for the safety of my pack, especially the guy that gives off bad vibes.

So anyway the day is going smoothly my sister and two other women decide to take some of the kids to the park for fun. Maryann mind-linked me "Hey bro we just arrived at the park!" she says a little louder then need but she is excited so I ignore it and replied "Glad to hear it stay safe and if anything happens..." "I know mind-link you immediately!" she says cutting me off and I just smile and shake my head. I cut the link and went back to work.

1 HOUR LATER

As I'm finishing the last paper, I get a mind-link from my sister "AARON THEIR IS A GUY HERE WITH A SWORD ON HIS BACK AND A FEMALE WITH A DRAWN SWORD!

I hear her yell in panic. "WHAT? What is the female doing?" she says calmer "She is attacking the guy and keeping him from us, we are leaving now." I sigh in relief, "Good, I'm on my way" I end the link with her and link my warriors "A guy went after some pack members in the park let's go!"

I ran out of my office out the door and shifted. My warriors and Beta met me at the border. My Beta asked me "Alpha, was anyone hurt?" "No! Their was a female there she warned them, and attacked the guy before he could hurt them!" I said and I heard him sigh in relief.

we got to the park just as Maryann links me, "We are back at the pack house." I sent a quick "Good." just as I spot two people fight each other, we immediately started running towards them.

As I get closer to them I smell this most amazing smell of Vanilla and Lilic. It was coming from the female I knew right there and then she was my mate just as Blaze shouts "MATE" in my head. I looked at the guy and saw it was the guy that I had been getting the bad vibes from, so I jumped him. I sent him flying, since they did not even notice us coming. I thought I knocked him out, but he got up and started to charge me, when all of a sudden a wall of fire appeared out of nowhere right in front of me. The guy jumped back, then disappeared.

I turned and looked at my mate, Blaze is jumping off the walls "Go see if she is hurt!" So I walk over to her, she doesn't even flinch. I start sniffing her and looking her over, and found her unharmed.

I looked at her and she looked at me, then she shook her head. I looked behind her at my pack members and they where looking at her. It made my wolf jealous and he let out a growl, "SHE IS MY MATE!" I said using my Alpha tone they all lowered their heads in submission. But I didn't notice that my mate also heard it. When I looked back at her, she was looking at the twenty wolf's with a shocked look on her beautiful face. At first I was scared, I thought that seeing so many wolf's would scare her away. But instead of screaming and running away, she just shook her head and walked away.

But even though she was wearing a mask over her eyes, I knew it was that unknown female that showed up four days ago.

I turn to the others and said "Let's go home. I also want a team working on looking for that guy, I want is head on a plate a.s.a.p. under stood?" "Yes Alpha" they say at once.

I start heading back to the pack house and link my sister "Hey sis, the guy got away but we are all fine and unharmed." that is all I got out when "What about the female that was fighting him?" I chuckled and said "My mate is unharmed as well" it was silence for about a minute then "WHAT?"
