Jade's POV
I walked away from the wolfs, in shocked at the size of them; the white wolf was at least 7ft while the others were at least 6ft tall. Like what the actual FH? When I got out of sight I changed back to my civilian clothes, by using my watch. I then went to a dinner that was packed there was only one table available to which I was taken to. I looked at the menu, I decided on two servings of Country Fryed Stake with Mac and Cheese and Biscuit & Gravy, to drink I choose to have a large chocolate shake.
After I made my choice I called Hector:
Ring ... Ring .... Ri
"Hi sis how's it going?" I smiled "It is going good, I finally confronted my target today." "That's good! And?" he asked "Well as we were fighting a tall white wolf jumped on him. Then he went to attack the wolf so I put a fire wall up, I thought he would turn his attention back on me but instead he ran away." "Hahahaha! He ran away? Hahaha ha! Will you will get another chance so don't worry about it." I chuckled "I know I'm not worried about it. Thank you."
Aaron's POV
I just reached the steps to the pack house and shifted back to my human form when I was jumped from the back. "What do you mean mate?" I chuckled "I meant what I said. Remember the female that showed up four days ago?" She thinks about then "She's you're mate?!" she is now standing in front of me with wide eyes. I smile and nod my head "That is not all she was also the female that warned you about the guy and fought him." her eyes got bigger.
"Let's go to the dinner and get us some food! And I will tell you everything that happened on the way." She nods her head and grabs my arm and says "Let's get going!"
30 MINUTE'S LATER
We walk into the dinner and it was packed a waiter walks up "I'm sorry sire we are full you will have to take a seat and wait." I smiled "That is alright." we turn and took a seat by the door.
I watched the waiter walk to the back of the dinner then stopped at a booth, he was talking to someone.
Jade's POV
As I was filling my brother in this really handsome guy and beautiful girl, the girl I recognize from the park, walks in I see one of the waiters walk up to them and talk to them. Then I saw the guy nod his head and they took a seat by the door. The waiter was walking this way when he reached me I asked "Are they waiting for a table?" nodding towards the two "Yes. But we have no free table." "They can join me." he nods his head and turn to the front.
Aaron's POV
I watched him nod his head then turn back this way he walked straight to us and said "We lucked out one of our customers has volunteered to share her table with you two. Please follow me."
Maryann jumped up with a huge smile on her face. I just chuckled and stood up. We followed him to the table I saw him at. I hear a beautiful chuckle and a voice say "I know I'm not worried about it. Thank you." we stopped at the table, she looks up smiles at us and waves her hand to the other side of the table. I let Maryann get in first then took a seat. She is beautiful she has brown hair the color of milk chocolate and ice blue eyes. I'm brought out of my thoughts and hear her say "I will, I love you!" I frown.
Jade's POV
Hunter: "Be safe and get your target, remember call me in four days!" I just smile and say "I will, I love you!" "Love you too, baby girl." we said bye and hung up. I put my phone away, the waiter is back "Are you ready to oder?" The guy says they will have their usual, I gave my order he smiles and says "I will be back with your orders." then left. The guy looks at me and says "Hi my name is Aaron WhiteStone and this is my baby sister Maryann WhiteStone." he reached out to shake my hand I grabbed his forearm and felt sparks I took my hand back fast and said "Jade" Aaron looked like a kid who got candy for the first time.
Maryann looked at me asked "So what brings you to our small town?" I smiled, I really like her, "Work." I say, her eyes widen and she nods her head. "What kind of job do you do?" Aaron ask. I smile "A bit of detective work." I left it at that and asked "What about you?" he was a bit surprised and said "I took over our family business, of real-estate. We own a really large land in the woods and let people live there with us that doesn't want to live in town." "That's wonderful." Then Maryann ask "I'm just dying of curiosity who were you talking to?" Her brother looks like he saw a ghost. "I mean you don't have tell me if you don't want to." she looks embarrassed now. I started laughing "Hahaha, no it is all right. I was talking to my one and only older brother." Maryann started jumping in her seat with excitement and her brother just looks relieved. I just shurged my shoulders, then the food was delivered. We started to eat and joke around.
ONE HOUR LATER
We are getting ready to leave when Aaron hands my a piece of paper with his phone # on it. "Call me if you want to talk, or need help or whatever." I nod my head took the paper and put it in my pocket then I said bye, then left. I went back to my hotel room.
Aaron's POV
I watched her walk to a hotel near the dinner then I turned and walked back to the pack house with Maryann.
30 MINUTE'S LATER
I headed for my office to finish the last paper I was doing before the attack. I walk in my office looked at my desk and growned the mountain of paper work was back! I sighed and got back to work.
