Jasper watched me with a smug look on his face all day, and it was getting under my skin. Dakota and I headed out of class and made our way to the cafeteria, the usual humdrum of students filling the air with a familiar buzz. As soon as we stepped inside, my eyes scanned the crowded room, and I immediately spotted Scott. Without a second thought, I ran into his arms, feeling relief wash over me.
