I walked into Lucy’s office, leaned down, and kissed her cheek, breathing in her delicate scent before telling her, “I’m headed to the school. I’ll see you when I get back.” She nods, giving me her sweet smile, and says, “Be careful, Alpha.”
Shadow growls at her, pushing forward just as her wolf, Genesis, does the same. ‘We should go for a run when I return,’ he says gruffly.
She giggles, ‘I can’t wait.’ He gives her a deep growl and purrs in her ear.
