‘You gotta be f*****g kidding me,’ I say under my breath as I go running around the outside of the gym to catch up with Adalynn as she sneaks off with Scott. I know she thinks she is safe with the Alpha’s son, but she is being childish right now.
I don’t particularly appreciate being reprimanded by the King. I know if I can’t catch up with her, the King will have my hide.
I went around the back of the gym only to see her and Scott jump into his car and take off. I ran to my car, kicking myself for bringing my personal vehicle instead of a pack vehicle. I know it will never keep up with Scott’s sports car.
