It’s been exactly five weeks since we started schooling online, and Adalynn ran off with Scott after my father’s and Principal Jarvis’s announcement about the online forums to be put in place.
After they located them, Donna and Emil brought Adalynn and Scott to the palace. My dad was hot. I can’t remember a time when I saw him so mad. Although Adalynn snuck out on Donna, she was punished for failing to protect her.
The King isn’t so cruel that he would physically punish anyone without cause. Still, he demoted Donna to a lower-rank warrior status, and Emil was assigned Adalynn’s personal security. He also assigned three more for personal protection: Warrior Rita and Warrior Misty, who will work in tandem, and Warrior Troy, who will work in tandem with Emil.
