As I walked into my room, I reached out to Eric, Blake, and Mark through our mental link, asking if they could meet me to discuss what I’d learned at the annual Alpha Council meeting. We agreed to gather in an hour in my parents’ office suite.
“Mark,” I linked him privately, “Where is Adalynn?”
“She went back to her pack early this afternoon. Emil, Rita, and Misty escorted her in a five-car convoy,” he replied.
“Are you kidding me? She was supposed to stay there until after the ball and leave with her mate if she found him!” I exclaimed, taking an aggravating breath.
