On the ride, Eric told me that Mark had stayed with Adalynn. He stays close to her, as Ethan stays close to Queen Luna; he doesn’t leave her side when they leave the palace grounds for shopping.
“That’s good. Ethan is an excellent Gamma, but I knew having Mark there would allow him to focus on my Mom.” I replied.
“I think Adalynn has gotten used to Emil now. He told me that she called him before she left her room, and he met her outside her suite. She doesn’t like Rita so much,” he laughs. “She told her at the boutique shop the other day, ‘You get out of here. I don’t need you to change my clothes for me.’ And Emil had to reach in and pull her out of the changing room.” I smiled because I knew that stubborn side of her.
