Chapter-1 , Introduction .
In the heart of a glittering metropolis, where skyscrapers sliced through clouds and secrets lingered in shadows, ruled a woman known only as Selene Draven. Cold-hearted, dangerously beautiful, and endlessly ambitious, she was the CEO of Draven Corp — a billion-dollar empire built on ruthless deals and icy silence. Her eyes, the color of blood under moonlight, held no emotion. That’s because Selene wasn’t just feared for her power. She was a vampire — ancient, untouchable, and used to getting exactly what she wanted.
Then came him.
Kairo Vale — her new secretary. Young, effortlessly sexy, and utterly human. With a smile that could disarm the cruelest soul and confidence that bordered on arrogance, he stepped into her sleek office like he owned the place. She hired him for convenience. Nothing more. But from the moment he brushed past her, something stirred — something she had buried centuries ago.
Selene didn’t believe in warmth. Or weakness. Yet his presence unsettled her.
He, in turn, didn’t know her truth.
Not yet.
But in the cold walls of her empire, desire brews.
And when fire meets frost… someone’s bound to melt.
Or burn.

Part 2: Crimson Tension
Selene watched Kairo Vale from behind her black-glass desk, the city burning in gold and ash through the windows behind her. He was organizing files with the precision of a machine, but his eyes—too observant, too curious—kept flicking toward her. Like he was studying a puzzle he intended to solve.
He didn’t flinch under her gaze.
That made him dangerous.
“Vale,” she said, voice like silk over steel.
He turned, too smooth, that maddening smirk tugging at his lips. “Yes, Ms. Draven?”
Ms. Draven. Not ma’am, not Selene. That was intentional. A man who didn’t fear monsters because he didn’t know he was standing next to one.
“You’ve been here a week.” She rose, each movement calculated and effortless. “You’ve already accessed restricted files.”
Kairo’s brow lifted. “Is efficiency a crime?”
“I call it curiosity.” She took a step closer. “And in this company, curiosity gets you... buried.”
A flicker of something passed through his eyes. Fear? No—amusement.
“Are you threatening me, Ms. Draven?” he asked, leaning forward just enough to enter her space. “Because if you are, I should let you know... I bite back.”
Wrong choice of words.
Selene’s eyes flashed crimson for a heartbeat, too fast for human sight. But Kairo paused, just slightly, as if he’d felt something in the air change.
She circled him slowly. “You’re hiding something, Vale.”
“So are you.”
That stopped her.
Their eyes locked. Heat and frost. A standoff of unspoken truths. Kairo wasn’t just a charming secretary. There was something... off about him too. His reflexes. His confidence. The way he had known exactly which of her old archives to access, as if he was looking for something.
Could it be—?
She stepped back, masking her thoughts. “You’ll find that Draven Corp eats the weak. Are you weak, Kairo?”
He smiled. “Why don’t you try me and find out?”

Elsewhere, in the shadows of the city...
An old enemy stirred. A rival vampire clan long thought extinct. And in their hands? A photo of Selene. And beside it—
A profile marked: Kairo Vale – Hunter Division.
They had sent him for her.
But he wasn’t doing it their way.
He was doing it his.
