Chapter 3

"YOUR LATE!!" The Luna yelled the moment I stepped into the kitchen. Actually i am on time acourding to the clock. I thought but I wont say that to her. "Im sorry ma'am," was all I could get out without loosing my mind this early in the morning. The clock on the kitchen wall above the stove read 6:00 am, that is the time I have to help prepare breakfast for the pack members. Warriors eat after they do their daily morning training. I wasnt allowed to train but Savannah offers to tahe hope around 7:00 pm everyday so I can go for a run. My birthday was 3 weeks ago, on our 19th birthdays we gain our wolf. Her name is Rain, but no one except Savannah and her family have actyally met her yet. Because I am the daughter of an Alpha my wolf is a bit bigger than an other omegas would be. No one except the Alpha and Beta of the pack knew of my Alpha bloodline, I suppose that is to keep me from having the chance to take the Luna postion or even the Alpha one if I decided to challenge Jason for it. However I'd rather not be tied to this pack at all. Taking over a pack is not illegal when it is done by a challege. My father knew that when he lost the battle 3 years ago, Not excepting the challenge would have made him seem weak. However, killing an eintire pack was wrong but not illegal. Once my father lost the challenge the Mossy Oak became Alpha Dean's do what he wished. To this day he still brags about this win for the new land that he now owned. Rain is a very levelheaded wolf most of the time, until she is mad of course. Every wolf has a different personility that matches the human perfectly. Rain couldnt wait to meet her mate, Oh i hope is sexy! just thinking about it makes me all pouncy! Rain said in my head. Oh will you just calm down! Have you forgotten the extra baggage I carry around? Looking at hope as she sleeps all tucked away in the wrap. No! But your too good looking to pass up and the best mom ever! I know our mate will love us, all of us. I could hear her purring in the back of my mind at the thought of it. "HERE! This is your to do list for today!" Frocing mysleft out of my mind, the Luna handed me a very long piece of paper. "The Alpha cermony for Jason is in two days and I expect this place to be perfect!" She said snapping her fingers in my face, I want to break just one finger to get her out of my face. "Am I suppose to put all this together! Since when did I become the partyy planner?" I couldnt help it, I was in total shock that she even offered that much responsability at me. "I am to busy helping Alpha Dean with the new construction of our new land to do it. Besides everythings right there on the paper! Just get it done!" The Luna screamed as she walked out of the kitchen. Rolling my eyes ago I looked at the list. Well at least sending the invations was already crossed off. I said to myself. What is next? Ah the food! to easy! I'ved here and been in the kitchen long enough to know that the Alpha's household and warriors liked so that was easy and only took a few mintues. I request al the kitchen staff to meet with me before serving breakfast the the pack memebers sinve they hadnt made their way to the cafeteria yet. "Shockingly The Luna put the Alpha cermony in my hands," I swayed with Hope while taking to the staff, I knew she was getting hungry but I needed to do this meeting. I explained to the staff that I need the food we would be making for the cermony and the type of cake The Luna wanted. "We'll do boar meat, mac and cheese, sweet rolls, corn on a cob, and mixed veggies for the main dinner meal." The head cheif wrote it down as I told him the food for dinner, the baker was giving a much storter list. "The Luna wants a larger sheet cake mixed with vanilla and chocolate with butter cream frosting, the colors she wants are the pack colors with the pack symbol in the middle, make sure it can feed 150 guest easily." I say to the baker while adjusting Hope from the wrap to my arms. I dismissed the kitchen staff and went to the ball room and sat down with Hope at a table in the middle of the room and latched her on my breast so she could eat. The ball room is huge and it was attached to the the cermony room so it would easy fit the 150 other packs that were invited. By the time I finished my meeting it was almost 12 pm, all the warriors and the rest of the pack members would be returning to training and other duties so I knew I would be able to eat something fast for lunch. "Ah! I thought you would be in here!" I look to see Savannah carrying to plates in her hands, she had two BLT's and some fruit on each plate. "Here, I knew you had to being hungry so I made two plates." Savannah says to me before sitting the chair across from me. Savannah loves parties, her parents are not rich but they live a comfortble lifestyle so her birthdays were always with a decent party. "Thank you! So help me here, I have no idea how to decorate this space even with this stupid list." I tossed her my list and her yells got huge for a moment, "The Luna wants the pack colors which I can do easy with the drapes but how do I arrange the space for dancing and mingoling?" I rubbed my face with my one free hand. Savannah wrinkled her face and stood up looking around the room. Hope was full and had fallen back asleep, She was so small that tucking her back in the wrap was easy and reqiured little movement. "You could almost make all the tables into a circle around this section of the room, that would give everyone a view of that is happening at the front and center but still it easy to move and chat around the room." Savannah says pointing in a circle like direction. " Your a genius! Thank you!" I say giving her a soft hug. "You are coming to the cermony right?" Savannah asked but she was more like telling me with her body langauge. "Yes Savannah I am coming but only to the cermony, not the party." I knew no one in the pack liked me due to the rumors on my pregnancy and besides that I wasnt about to ask someone to babysit just so I could stand in the corner all night. "Kora, how are you ever going to be free of this hell hole if you dont spend time looking for you mate." Savannah took my hands and looked me the eyes basically pleading. "There will wolves from other packs here! Its the perfect opportunity! You can even wear my black dress and I do your hair!" She begged me. You know she is right, hidding isnt the answer to your freedom. I cant stand it when my wolf is right, but has much as I hated it they were both right. "Fine but please go light! I'll have to wear Hope around like always and you know my hair is to long!" I say giving in to her puppy eye look. "Oh you will look beautful stop stressing!" she says walking away back to the kitchen with the dishes. I had two more meetings with the decorators and then the florist, Last time I looked at a clock it was damn near 5 pm and I was beyond tired. I sat down the the kitchen to feed Hope again before walking back to my somewhat of a house and eat some fruit left over from lunch, Savannah asked her mom if she would mind helping me witth the baby during the cermony and celebration and of course she said yes. Once the hallways was clear of traffic going to dinner I went up the stairs to The Luna's office to drop off the arrangements for Jasons cermony before heading home. I knew waiting until dinner I would be able to avoid everyone, or so I thought. "Wher ein the hell do you think you are going!" Jason yelled. s**t, I just stopped walking but never turned around to face him. Jason grabs my arm and sqeezes my arm causing me pain but I refuse to show him how much it actually hurt. "What do you want Jason, I tired and I'm not in the mood for you s**t today!" I tried to pull my arm free but to be honest he trains all day and I do housework, I knew it was pointless so i just yelled in his face. Jason gets up close to my neck and takes in a deep breathe of my scent, sicking the way he grins at me. "Are you avoiding me? You know I own you." Jason says still burring his face in my neck. Oh how I wish I could just kicking where it hurts and be done, but doing so could cause harm to Hope so I just stood there. "Jason please leave me alone." I normally don't beg, but I have no engry and a baby attached to me. "I'm warning you now if you even think about an other wolves during my Alpha cermony," Jason quitely threats me, "I will make make you suffer in ways you wish never existed, you are mine!" In realility I wasn't really his, I'm not his mate for one thing and for two Jason never marked me. But Jason knew I would never surrive on my own with an infant. I waited for him to free my arm from his grip and never said a word. Jason is tall about 6'3 and built, not like The Rock built but he had enough muscle to hurt someone. His long black hair is the only nice thing about him, he liked to caise pain to others. s*x with him is painful and rough and I don't mean the good tyype. At three months pregnant just before i was thrown out of the pack house Jason came into my room, I told him no of course but I ended up thrown against the wall the moment he walked in. I tired not to give him any sort of pressure with sounds but that only made him more mad. By the time he finished ,y rib was cracked, my lip was busted, and my entire body was shaking. Every since that night, my body just freezes with fear and I know Jason knows, to be honest i think he likes it.

Once home I feel weight is off my shoulders allowing me to breathe, Hope is asleep already so in to bed she goes on her side of the bed. Im to tired to competely change so i just strip into my tee-shirt. Normally I takes a while to fall asleep but not tonight, mentally my brain is fried from party planning, I can't think of anything else but sleep.
