Settling In

Monica: On the way to the shopping center the road was rather quiet so I decided to have a conversation. Emma, you know if there is anything you ever wanna talk about you can talk to me. Emma nodded her head in an okay motion. Well, I just wanna say for what its worth you and Connor would make a lovely couple, I say. Emma looked up at me suprised. What did Connor tell you exactly?, Emma asks. He did't tell me anything. I just know he has eyes for you. That is all I say. How do you know that he is even interested in me?, Emma asks. You ask a lot of questions, I say, laughing. I know he feels something for you because if he didn't he wouldn't have gotten so upset when he heard what happened at the apartment and when he saw you his eyes, light up like I had never seen before, I continued to say. I don't think he likes me in that way he doesn't seem like the type to want a long fulfilling relationship, Emma says. Well Connor hasn't exactly had a easy life and doesn't know how to make a relationship work but maybe if you guys spend some time together you can show him how to make one works, I say. I have never had been in a relationship before but I know its not suppose to be the way my mom and Bobby are, Emma says. Exactly if you know that much then you know enough, I say. Well I do have a question about something else, Emma says with a red face. Let me guess it has something to do with the blood at the apartment, I say. Yeah Im to embarrassed to ask mom about it, I have had periods before but not like this, Emma says. I started my period really early atleast a week early, Emma continues. I had been stressed but I stopped bleeding when Emma stopped in the middle of her sentence. Let me guess you were bleeding and you decided to have some self-intimacy time and then didn't bleed anymore, I say. Yeah, but i had never done anything like that before, Emma says. Emma, your body hasn't ever felt the things you put it through and every woman's body reacts differently, but you will start your period again, I say. You know my first time I had ever done anything to myself intimately, I stopped bleeding for a few days and then started back again, I said. I will warn you though, when you do the real thing it will be completely different. You will bleed as soon as you have s*x for the first time, I continued. Did your first time hurt?, she asked. Yes, the first time is always uncomfortable. It's better if you ready yourself for it and loosen up first, I say. Oh ugh.. okay thank you for the advice but I think it will be awhile before I do anything serious, Emma says. Thats a good thing you know, that you think that way it makes you and your partner more passionate. The wait will make you want to take time with one another, I told her. It's the right way to feel, I say. Well, enough of that talk tell me where this new place is I will be staying at, Emma says. Oh girl, its beautiful and if I am honest I think Connor chose the place because you would be so close to him, I tell her with a big grin. Emma laughs at my comment. You sure it doesn't have something to do with him wanting to keep a close eye on me?, Emma asks. I'm absolutely positive, I say. We both laugh as we pull into the large shopping center. We go into the shopping center and Emma immediately goes to the hygiene department. I watched her as she grabbed the things she would need for her morning routine. From there she grabbed some pads and small tampons. She looked at the tampons reading the box and then turning to me. How exactly do these work?, Emma asked, holding up the box of tampons. I showed her using the picture on the box but she still had a confused look on her face. If you haven't ever had s*x, I don't recommend using these. Anyway women are only for women that have had s*x before, I say. Emma shrugged her shoulders and put the box back on the shelf. This is all I needed. We could go, she said. Emma, might I suggest something before we go?, I asked. Sure, she said. Well since you and Connor both like each other why done you get a few things that would catch his eye. For the first night you decide to you know have you first intamint time together, I suggested. I guess but wont he see what his money is being spent on? Emma asked. Nope he will only see where it was spent and how much was spent and I know just the place to go, I said. Okay then lead the way but lets not spend lot of his money I done want him to think of me that way, Emma said. I took Emma to a business shop I like to shop at. The shop is full of business material. Anything you would need from cloths to office supplies this place has it. Not many people know this but in the back they have a beautiful selection lingerie for woman. Once we got to the store I told Emma to pick out a few business outfits. I suggested a beautiful blue knee high dress it matched her almond colored complection beautifully. Emma has dark burgundy hair with natural curls at the ends she is hard to miss in a crowed. Emma selected three sets of silk bras and panties that were each lined with different colors of lace. Emma also didn't have pajamas to sleep in and I showed her some of the finest selections of pajamas. She was hessataint about selecting any of them at first but after a little persuasion she inclined. She selected a silk nigh gown and two sets of cotton night suits. When we were all finished I told Emma she could go ahead to the car while I paid for her things, I didn't want her to see the price of all the things she bought. Besideds I told Connor myself I would be taking her shopping for a few things and he said to get her whatever she needs. While Emma was worried about a price Connor didn't set a limit and he knows my taste is expensive so he would be expecting this. Although I was hoping Emma would have gotten more for herself she didn't get much and the price didn't exceed nine hundred dollars. This girl would be spoiled by Connor. On the way to the hotel I explained to Emma that her hotel sweet was more less like a room and more like a home. The sweet was equipped with a kitchen, a bar and livingroom with furniture, and a bedroom with a king size bed and a full sized bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with cooking materials and I already took the liberty of having some grosheries delivered to her room and being put away. I know the room has alcohol in the bar. Even though I told her mother that her mother said to just leave it. Kathy had explained that Emma has never drank or done anything a normal teenager has done, and if she wants to experince that now she would approve of it as long as Emma didn't leave the hotel room. We pulled in at the hotel and Emma looked up at the tall building that stood ten storys high. There were only four rooms on the top floor and one office for conferences. Emmas room and Connors room was the biggest rooms on the top floor. When we got to the top floor I gave Emma the key card to her room. Once we got into the room Emma looked around in amusement and disbeleif. Who is paying for me to stay here?, she asked. Connor is, Why is there something wrong?, I asked. Its just a bit much don't you think? It must cost a fortune just to get the room and there is no telling how long I'll be here, she said. Emma you shouldn't worry about that Connor wants to help and wants to see you safe if you argue about it with him he will just move you into his sweet with him, I tell her with raised eye brows. I wouldn't mention it until the two of you get closer and know each other better, I suggested. Okay but I will just have to pay him back some how, she said eyeing the place with worry. Emma its alright I have a feeling he wont let you pay him back anyway, I said. Some of Connors security men are bringing the shopping bags and duffel bags in from the cart that come up on the elevator. They placed the bags inside the door. Excuse me could you put the bags on the bedroom for us,? I asked one of the men. Im sorry Mama Connor instructed stickled orders no men are to come inside, he said. What are you serious Connor is more possisive over this girl than I thought. Emma is in her room looking around checking the rest of the place out. Very well then I will do it myself, I said huffing. The man nodded before returning to his post by the elevator door. I shut the door and grabbed some of the bags and carried them to Emmas room. Oh let me help you with those, Emma said stepping out of the large closet. You would think those men would have brought them in an set them on the counter at least, Emma said with a light chuckle. Actually Connor told them no men including the guards are to come in your room, I said laughing. Emma had a shocked look on her face. Why would he tell them that?, she asked. Maybe he is just jelious someone else will catch your eye, I said laughing and winking at her. Emma busted out laughing. She surprised me I thought I had heard her real laugh before but this time when she laughed it was adorable and it was the first real laugh I had got out of her. I looked at her with a big grin spread across my face. when she caught the look on my face she stopped laughing. Sorry I just cant believe that man would let a thought like that cross his mind. He is simply the most admirable and breathtaking man I have ever laid eyes on, even if he is a few years older than me, Emma said. I was pleased to here such words come from Emma, I always looked at Connor like he was my own son. After Connors father paced away I stepped in the take care of him the best way I could he want very young but he was still in highschool. I didn't want Connor getting caught up in greifing over his fathers death. I hopped he would succeed and full fill his life dreams and so far he has done everything he has ever wanted to do. Connor previously opened a clothing designer firm just two years after he got out of highschool. He gave the lead supervisor position to one of his closest friends Exavior. Exavior ran the business for Connor. All products and plans and ideas and such ran through Connor first. Connor had a knack for a lot of things. While Connor stays out of the media only a few wealthy people know who Connor is and the businesses he owns. The building Connor just opened to look like a firm to Bobby is actually going to be turned into a shelter for troubled kids. The remodeling crew he booked to do the job is about a month out, which is the reason he is in a hurry to get this investigation under wraps. If he doesn't get the information he needs in time then he is going to move the work to the confrance room in his hotel and use the excuse of water damage. Emma nor Kathy knows of the places Connor owns. Just last month Connor bought out the business store we just shopped at and has Exavior ship some of the newest material that being modeled there to be put on display. Its one of the only retailers in the country that have the designer cloths on hand that are being modeled. Connor also owns a tax firm in LA, its one of the largest tax firms there is. Connor has been smart with his choices so far. Staying out of the picture and monitoring the progress of his businesses is very smart. He only steps in when something goes wrong. Every once in a while, he will pay the companies a surprise visit to make sure everyone is doing well. I wont be the one to tell Emma any of these things Connor is very private when it comes to business and his companies. Emma starts unpacking her things, placing everything neatly where she wants it. My phone started ringing and I looked at the caller ID. It was Connor. I stepped out of the room to take the call.
