The house was quiet as I made my way down the stairs and outside. Hector was standing in front of the house when I got out. He looked at me with the look he always gave me. I put on a scowl and crossed my arms over my chest. "I apologize for being a jerk to you yesterday," Hector said. "I just really like you a lot, but I shouldn't have said those things to you. I hope you can forgive me and we can go back to being friends?" He said the last part, more like a question as he stared at me hopefully and I sighed. "I am just glad I won't leave when we are on bad terms." I smiled a little. "You are still leaving?" He asked, looking surprised. "Yes," I confirmed and he looked down with sadness on his face. "I still think you should stay though." Hector bit his lower lip while looking
