Revenge or love

Alejandra stood outside the mansion , the sound of burning woods creaking loudly . Tears streamed down her ten year old face . “ Am sorry” Maverick whispered beside her , his face laced with pity and guilt. Alejandra stood still not moving an inch , her shoulders were shaking violently from the fierce feeling of pain and helplessness. She didn't know if she should scream or if she should just watch . Her parents, her grandparents, her aunts , her uncles, her cousins. Everyone she ever knew was burning in that flame . All she could hear was the endless rumple of burning wood and the explosion of toxic substance . “ Mama” she whispered as her eyes blurred more , tears clouding her vision . Carlos and Drake were suddenly dragged out of the house , they were kicking violently but the huge men held them tight so that they couldn't escape. Alejandra caught sight of them and immediately ran towards her brothers , “ brother!” She screamed helplessly , maybe her brothers could help her now . Maybe they would tell her what was happening . But instead , Alejandra was ruthlessly dragged away , her body slamming to the rough sand . “ Ahh” she screamed as the pain struck right inside her . “ Run Andra run” her eldest brother yelled in between the chaos . Andra shook her head , run to where ? She had no place to run to , she knew no one , she was homeschooled , she had no friends . She knew no teachers . Where was she going to ? Her entire life was dependent on her family , she would die if she left . Maverick ran to her side , “ come with me” he said , his face laced with confusion as he tried to drag Alejandra along . She pulled away immediately, her brows furrowed with thick lines appearing on her forehead . “ You killed my family!” Alejandra shouted , and immediately burst into hot tears . Maverick was dumbfounded , “ no I didn't, I didn't do anything, I don't know what you are talking about” he said shaking his head with confusion. He was as confused as her , few minutes ago , Andra was being celebrated and the next minute, they were under attack and what made it even more confusing was the fact that his father was leading the m******e . A body guard came towards them, “ young master , let's get you home” Andra raised her head and flashed him a look, it was distant yet agonizing for Maverick . She was his best friend , he wouldn't leave her alone , never . “ I will go with my friend” he said trying to drag Andra along . “ Let go of the rag” a strong yet chilly voice boomed in the background . Andra shivered from the horrifying impact , who…who was that? A black masked man came forward. His mask was delicately made and it covered half of his face. He oozed elegance with a touch of murderous intent . “ Kill her and take the young master back” he said cruelly . A shiver ran down Andra’s spine as her eyes hung wide open . She crawled backwards in fear , her gaze fixed on the cold figure that uttered the heartless word . Background noise ceased as she was faced with death . She could only hear the thumping of her own heart so loudly that she thought she was going to die from it . Maverick was dragged away as he kept thrashing the air in defiance . Ethan drew nearer towards Andra, his gaze pierced her eyes , he could see the fear in them , he should feel pity for her but instead , he felt a strange sense of satisfaction. “ From the high and mighty heiress to become nothing but a dead and worthless existence…what a waste” he spat , his voice laced with poisonous venom . Andra's face turned red with pain as every single word resonated deep inside of her . He should be apologising for taking her family away but instead , he was raining insults on her . Ethan ruthlessly clutched onto her blonde hair dragging her up . Andra whimpered in pain but let her voice low , she watched as her brothers were thrown into the black truck and locked inside, leaving her standing with this scary figure. He let go of her hair , a sly smile forming on his lips . “ Run” he said to her , his face cold but with a hint of mischief . Andra didn't know how to react but one thing was certain , she had to survive, she didn't know where she was going to go but she had to go if not he would kill her . She immediately took to her heels but Ethan lt out a booming laughter as he watched her run . “ How far can you run for five minutes? You will still get killed” Andra’s heart sank , killed ? Would she die just like her pet died ? No ! She screamed inwardly and increased her pace . She was tall for a ten year old and it gave her make advantage as she ran speedily. Carlos always said that running in the first gave mkre advantage but there were no dense forest around! She kept running , a thick green vegetation coming into her view . “ After her” she heard from a distant. Her heart thumped loudly , were they going to finally kill her ? Will they just shoot her ? All this thoughts ran through her mind as she increased her pace , God please help me ! She immediately ran into the vegetation and as a result of her bare legs , she got seriously injured . A sharp wood pierced the sole of her feet . She shrieked with pain and immediately fell to the ground . Her heart traveled down to her legs as she could feel a throbbing sensation at her feet. The pain struck so badly that she burst into anothr episode of tears . “ She went in there!” She heard one of the men speaking. She shivered with shock and immediately stood up , the pain struck again , helplessness sipping into her very being . She fell again as she whimpered with pain . She couldn't do it , she couldn't stand , she was bleeding profusely, she didn't know where to go or what to do. She heard the men coming closer and closer . Her heart sank as a terrible feeling filled her up. Was she really going to die ? Woods creaked beside her as she lay there waiting for her death , “ found her” a man said , his voice ringing just beside her . Andra held onto the leafy ground scattered with woods , fear was where she found solace , she waited for her death as the men all gathered beside her . She heard a metal instrument c*****g and it dawned on her that it was a gun . Her consciousness was already fading from the bleeding. BAM !! BAM !! BAM!! BAM!! Four men immediately dropped to the floor …lifeless
