Chapter 22

Rick checks his father's balance and support. "I think you're right, Dad. I would teeter like that."

Mike goes into a sitting position from there and comments, "This is more stable but it's hard to get the muzzle down to a useable position and maintain any real support. If you have something like a log or rock to sit on it can be good or if you're on an incline the same." Rick nods. "Okay, you try some of those positions and see what you think."

After Rick has run through the various positions with Mike checking him he suggests, "Okay, three more rounds. I suggest you put two in your shirt pocket for easy access and so you don't drop them. Try the shots from the position you find best."

Rick uses the one legged kneel and takes his time. With the first shot a can flies in the air. He let
