                                                                      Chapter Five: Ramon's Surprise

Ramon is at the front door with flowers, balloons. and a cupcake from Janice's favorite bakery. Janice goes and let him in "Happy Birthday to you," Ramon sings to his cousin. "Girl why are your eyes red?" "Have you been crying?" "What have Corey done now?" "He forgot my birthday, I gave him a chance but not once did he say Happy birthday to me out of 10 years of marriage." "He just walked out the door and went to work like he does every day, that really hurt my feelings to know my cousin remembered my birthday and my own husband didn't." "Oh Janice I'm so sorry honey, Corey is an ass." "Look tonight I'm going to take you out to dinner and dancing, we are dance so much you will think we are reliving our teenage years when we were young, we are going to call Rachel to see if she could watch the kids for a couple of hours and me, you, China, Coco, and Tara are going out and turn up for your birthday like we use to do before you got married; and I don't want to hear any excuses." "So go and put on your best dress and some comfortable shoes because we are going to dance the night away." "Ok Ramon, I'll go since it's my birthday and I need cheering up." "Yay, me and my cousin are going to turn up, up in here up in here tonight." Later that night Ramon and their friends pulls up at Janice's house in a limo he had rented for his cousin's birthday. He gets out and rings the door bell, Rachel answers the door with Aaron on her hip and Katie with dolls in her hand, "uncle Ramon,' Katie says as he picks her up and spins her around. "Hey my ladybug whatcha doing?" "Playing with my Barbie dolls with auntie Rachel and Aaron but Aaron keeps putting them in his mouth." "My daddy doesn't like Aaron playing with my Barbie dolls, he says he doesn't want him to grow up and be like you." "What do he mean by that uncle Ramon?" "Well Katie your daddy is -, Rachel cuts Ramon remark short. "I want you and Aaron to have the best time with your auntie Rachel ok, can you promise me that and not give her a hard time, ok ladybug?" "If you be on your best behavior and help your auntie Rachel with Aaron tomorrow I will come by and take you to get ice cream and maybe go to the toy store to get that special Barbie doll you wanted, how do that sound?" "Okay, and he gives Katie a high five, uncle Ramon, my auntie Rachel brought mommy a pretty pair of red shoes for her birthday she is going to wear dancing with you tonight." "Well that was nice of her, your auntie Rachel is really special person, she and your mother are my favorite two people I love the most in this world." "What about me and Aaron?" Katie asks "Oh course I love you and Aaron you silly rabbit" and they both laugh. Just then Janice walk down the stairs with her red dress, red shoes and a beautiful red and blue scarf on. "Wow, mommy is pretty." Katie says "Yes she is Ramon agrees, so are you ready girl?" "Yes where are the others, they are in the limo waiting on us." "Limo, Ramon you rented a limo, yes only the best for my cousin, but how?" "Oh this guy came to the club one night and had forgotten his wallet so I hooked him up with some free drinks and just so happen he owned a limo service, so he said if there's ever anything I can do for you just let me know and the rest is history." "And you used this for me, you could have saved it for you just incase you meet your Mr. Right and wanted to impress him." "You are my family girl and I wanted to show you the best night ever, do realize how much you mean to me?" They both hug, "this is a special occasion, do you know how long I've been trying to get you to come and go out with me and you always turned me down, well tonight we are going to celebrate." "Now come on we can't be messing up our make-up before we get to where we are going." Janice kisses the kids and tell them to be good for their auntie Rachel and hugs her sister and thanks her once again for watching the kids for her. As they walk out the door and heads to the limo, a very handsome young man gets out and opens the door for them. "Oh wow he's a cutie Janice says to Ramon, honey isn't he?" "I might have to take him home with me tonight, they both laughs." "Alright bitches let's get this night started right I have champagne, they all cheered as Ramon and Janice gets in the car and the driver closes the door. As they drove down the street Ramon tells the driver to go to the strip club so he can pick up his check from last night that he forgotten. Janice pulls out her cell phone to check it, "ah what are you doing?" Ramon asks "didn't we just leave your kids? “Yes Janice says, "then why are you looking at your phone?" "I was just checking to see if Corey might have sent me a message or tried to call me." "Well, did he?" "NO!" "Give me your phone, what if Rachel needs to get in touch with me for the kids." "Rachel has my number, tonight is a phone free zone, you are going to enjoy yourself tonight even if it kills you, you are not going to not worry about the kids because they are well taken care of and you definitely not going to worry about that jack ass husband of yours; it's your birthday, here take this glass of champagne and relax let your hair down." "Hey driver with your fine ass turn the music up!"  Ramon stands up on the sit and sticks his head through the sunroof and starts dancing, he grabs Janice and pulls her up with him. Janice finally starts to relax and enjoys herself, as they arrive at the strip club, Ramon asks the ladies if they wanted to come in and party at the club before they head to the restaurant. And of course, they agreed even Janice, "alright bitches, let's go and get our drink and party on." Janice was surprised to see all the men in the club and very handsome men but they were all gay. Ramon found them a table in the VIP section, he ordered champagne and suggested that they have dinner there at the club, he knew the chef so he canceled their reservations at Rico's and stayed for dinner and a show at the club. As the strippers start to perform the ladies and Ramon had started on their third bottle of champagne, they are near wasted, after toxic finished next to come up to the stage was the dragon, as the lights dem China puts her hand up to shade the light from her eyes and says "Hey that stripper up there looks a lot like Janice's husband Corey" they all put their hands up to see if they could see but the light was too bright and they were to drunk to tell, so they just shook their heads and started laughing. "Yeah right, Corey a stripper at a gay club stripping on stage." Janice says, my Corey is probably home now with some flowers and a gift waiting for me to get home" in her drunken voice. "And I'm going to be worth the wait she laughs and rolls her ass. "Oh you are nasty slut," Coco says to her. "Hey Ramon, are you ok?"  Ramon seemed content to what China was saying about the stripper on stage. "Yes, hold on ladies I'll be right back." As Ramon stubbles and walks to the backstage area, as dragon finish his performance he walks off the stage to the backstage area, as dragon  step off the stage, Ramon and Dragon lock eyes. Ramon is in a deep stare and shock to see that China was right, it was Corey. He is the stripper the dragon, as they both stand there speechless, Corey reaches for a towel to cover up, Ramon looks at him and says, "please tell me I'm dreaming," Corey what the hell!" "Ramon, please let me explain," "you better, and it better be a very dam good one because your wife is out there and I'm pretty sure she would like a good explanation also." "Janice, what is she doing here?" "Unlike you, we took her out to celebrate her birthday." "Oh, no dam I forgot today was her birthday, Ramon please I'm begging you please don't say anything to her about you saw me." "Look Corey, this is the second time you have asked me to keep something from my cousin, now you tell me what do you think I should do and  $50 is not going to help you this time." "I'm not for sell."
