CHAPTER 38 “I’ve missed you Lou,” Marvin says, as we speed off the drive. “It’s been so quiet at work without you.” “Ha! Have you been busy?” Marvin rolls his eyes, “non stop. Steph has been in a foul mood all week. She seriously needs to get in the Christmas spirit.” “Well I’m back in tomorrow so I’ll work on her.” Marvin slides a glance at me. “So how was it?” I tell him about my week at the Mystic Springs Hotel, omitting the part about the ghosts. Knowing Marvin he would think it hilarious. I also haven’t told him Joel was there and that we got it on – big time. I’m still getting used to the idea that I have a new boyfriend and want to keep it to myself for a bit. Or at least until I’ve told Dad and Robbie.
