Rose’s POV:
Maggie and I had spent the rest of the day, making list of what I would need for my wardrobe and off course our travel plans to Thorn’s estate. It was strange the way the mentioned it only now, but with Emma being sick, I understood.
Maggie also acted strange around me, it was as if she hated me, which was strange seeing as we just met. While we were making list and sending runners all over the place, I thought I should question her.
“So Maggie, where are you from”
“I live on Lord Alistair’s estate”
Her answers were very short and she was a little rude, but I was quite shocked to hear she live on Thorn’s estate.
“OH, but there is no need of a ladies maid on the Estate”
She gave me a brilliant smile, and she was absolutely gloating when she said
“Yes, I know. Shall I
