Thorn’s POV:
We traveled in silence, the rogue was now to week after his transformations and months of torture and starvation, that he collapsed against my sister has soon as they were mounted. Our travel was difficult with the two invalids but we managed. I felt relieved as soon as I saw the town house come into view.
Maggie stood waiting, she opened the gates and we moved Captain Jackson to the attic first. As I came down the steps, I noticed a movement at the window. As I looked up, I was staring right in Rose’s startled face. As soon as she saw me looking at her, she ran further into the house. I looked at Maggie, I knew she did this on purpose. I would have to deal with Rose later, we had to get the Rogue upstairs and see to both of their wounds.
