Trust issues

Andre's POV

After everything Stacy did and the invitation I got from Nora's parents,I knew things could get ugly very fast if it was not handled in a very proper manner. This time I decided not to let this couple treat me like trash,i'm not with their daughter so I won't allow that.But if I was to get back together with nora,I demand a little respect from them,I won't be selling my self esteem and self worth to people that won't think twice before kicking me aside even though I love Nora."Andre please could you pick a day to see my parents already,I really want to get back together with you" Nora said "I really want that too but with everything going on with Nathan I have to manage Hans construct alone.besides I need to be mentally prepared for this.I also want us to be on the same page about things.I really don't want to look stupid again" I said "why can't we get back together before all this,why won't you even touch me.you know I have a line of perfume and deodorant to manage right, i'm also busy too" she replied "I know Nora, but i'm only want to do this right this time. I really don't want to get myself invested in this when things with me and your parents are still shaky" I said pecking her cheeks. "But I miss you Andre,I want you too" she said playing with my tee-shirt. "Nora don't start,I know you are trying to seduce me.But i'm still not touching you till we meet with them and talk" I replied walking away "i'm making noodles are you interested in joining me" I asked and she nodded.

We cooked,ate and talked some more. She wanted to spend the night but I don't trust myself around her so I ended up driving her home that night.The next two weeks I was working closely with our production manager and his team.He sents details about his work through his personal assistant Jennifer who I discuss with and send information back to him.I was a little close to Jennifer who told me she was getting married in a month time.I got an invitation and I even met her fiancee when we went for a business diner with a client.Nora came to the apartment a week later and saw Jennifer with me,a few minutes later other employees arrived in my apartment and we finalized the plan for a residential apartment in another state with the team ready to go work on it.I ordered for take out while we worked,plus I kept checking up on Nora who was looking pissed. At the end of the evening we ate,laughed and we all teased Jennifer who was the only female in the team while she laughed.

While the others where talking and preparing to leave,Jennifer requested to discuss in private with me.I took her to the balcony and she said "Mr Andre Martins, i'm really grateful for this opportunity to work with you and i'm giving my best to earn and keep my spot on the team but I would really love some time off to finish off my wedding plans.I hope you could grant that" "sure Jennifer, we are a little packed with work right now so I think one weeks to your wedding date and two weeks after is all we can spare,i'm really sorry for the stress Jennifer" I said and she smiled saying "Thank you so much"I hugged her congratulating her, we walked in to see Nora who spilled the wine on her glass on Jennifer. "Oops! Sorry about that" Nora said "its ok,I was leaving already" Jennifer replied going to get her bag."i'm so sorry jen please hold on I have something for you"I said as I quickly dragged Nora to the room.

"We both know you did that on purpose, what's it with you being rude to someone you just met" I asked "she has to know her place and stop hitting on my man,and what would you even have for her" Nora asked "her wedding gift,a cheque,she is in love with someone and getting married to him Nora" I said pissed,walking away."Please you could clean up at the guest room there" I told Jennifer who nodded walking to the guest room.five minutes later she was out and about leaving,I apologized for Nora's behavior again and she said "No problem Mr Andre,we female love to mark our territory too" she said as Nora came out and said "I'm sorry Miss Jennifer" and she nodded as her fiancee pulled in to pick her "Nice to see you again Mr Andre,hope my girl is OK" he asked "Yea she is although there was a little accident with her dress,nice seeing you too Ethan" I said "stop talking about me like i'm not here" Jennifer said as she got into the car "see you at the wedding Mr Andre" Ethan said "sure" I replied as they drove off.

said "Do you even trust me at all nora, cause everything that happened tonight proves you don't,do you think any relationship can survive without trust" I asked "of course I trust you,I didn't trust her but that was no reason to react that way" she said "if you are going to distrust everybody that comes close to me, it is going to be really frustrating to be with you.Cause without them giving you a reason to distrust them,you doing that is like you're distrusting me too.I am really irritated with the way you acted" I said calmly "but I just apologized, I also apologized to her too.why can't we just be together so I stop being paranoid about you leaving me" she said "Do you trust me Nora,do you trust I would never do anything to hurt you" I asked "I do Andre,I really do" she replied hugging me while I kissed her hair and her lips. "Ok let's see your parents this weekend" I replied.

"Thank you Andre,I hope we can get that over with and be together" she said kissing me while I moaned "No Nora, i'm not touching you till after this" I said "how is Nathan doing" I asked "he is about to start therapy even though he really doesn't want to,my dad is forcing him to" she said "Nathan is never forced into anything he truly never wants to do" I said "That's true,I think my dad and Natalie's brother said that's the only way he can get her back" Nora said "I guess that sounds more like a reason why he would do that" I replied "she is hurting my brother,i'm beginning to hate her anytime I see Nathan like that" Nora said "she isn't the cause of whatever happened to Nathan, he wanted to push her away and he succeeded, I hope they get over this". "when are you leaving Nora" I asked "soon" she replied as we relaxed to watch a movie soon she slept off and I carried her to my bedroom placing her on the bed and tucking her in.

I went to the closet only to find her overnight bag and I smiled knowing she never had plans to leave tonight.she wanted to spend the night here.
