Hansel's POV

How did my life become a mess,I mean just a few months back this mess was judah's.I was only trying to help and now I'm at the forefront of it all.My girlfriend isn't willing to understand anymore, still I don't really blame her, especially after the conversation with my mum turned out ugly.I really do not agree with everything my mom said cause Natalie is also my friend and I really want to clear this up.Sammy on the other hand isn't co-operating and it's infuriating me.After another month of trying to get her to spill I was ready to give up but then Sammy just called me saying she was ready to talk.We set up a meeting for next week and I am finally happy that I can clear this up then move on to trying to pacify my girlfriend who even though we stay in the same apartment,avoids and ignores me like the plague.

Getting into the apartment after ending my call with Sammy,I met Joy eating. Looking at me she said "The guys are coming over,I mean everyone is coming over to hang out here,so I wanted to let you know" with that said,she took her food trying to walk away "Babe we can't keep doing this,it isn't healthy.please don't let this affect our relationship"I said "Well it already has,if we still have one, cause I'm not really sure"she replied "What! I'm not letting you go, it's crazy to think I would give up what we have"I said pissed "well,it's a month after I told you to pick either Sammy or me.Guess what? you are still having private meetings with her.That tells me where you head's at" she replied calmly which was making me panic "I choose you baby,it was never something I even have to think about.I'll always pick you"I said trying to pull her into my arms but she stepped back saying "I don't think so,you just think that but the harsh reality is that you picked her.I refuse to be an option for anyone" Joy said "Babe please, don't do this.I'll do anything you want.Tell me now and I'll do it"I said becoming desperate but we were interupted by the door bell.

"Hey man, what's up"Judah,Andre and Nathan said as they walked in "I'm good" I replied sensing tension.Not now, God please not now,I thought just as Natalie and Cathy walked in.The girls having much catching up to do,pulled Joy aside then Judah asked "what is going on with you and Joy" "We are going through a rough patch,she feels I picked Sammy over her"I replied "Speaking about Sammy, Hansel we've been patient enough,we plan on moving forward with our idea"Nathan said "Please guys we've already fixed a date so we can talk,guys she is willing to spill the details now" I replied hopeful they would understand. "well the thing is we don't need any details from her anymore,we are ready to take the easier root"Judah replied "Jeez guys,you can't be serious about doing that now that she is ready to talk,this is huge bro"I said with my voice a bit louder than I intended "And you don't see what Natalie is facing for several months now as huge, do you even consider her your friend"Nathan said "Ofcourse I do,but if you do this you would be making two people suffer, Natalie has already endured this,wouldn't it be right to get the actual culprit behind this than making another person suffer too"I said screaming at this point.

"I get what he is saying,cause Sammy is already willing to talk, isn't that what we wanted and why we've been patient" Andre said but Judah cut in saying "Are you f*****g serious, that's my sister for f**k sake, it's her life and reputation that has been bearing the brunt of all this, something she didn't do"with a loud voice drawing the attention of the girls "Are you f*****g kidding me Dre, isn't she like a sister to you too, hasn't she suffered enough for this,let the guilty party bear the brunt of it"Nathan screamed "but she is ready to talk,I can't let you guys do this"I said "Please guys let's calm down and try to understand, She is willing to talk isn't it fair for her to be protected like we promised"Andre said "That was long ago when we had the patience to listen to her then investigate, now,that patience is long gone"Nathan replied,at the point we were screaming at each other.Then Natalie cut us off saying "I can't believe what I'm hearing,so you guys picked that girl over me,over my reputation,over my self respect,so why am I here thinking we are friends,from all I've heard now,even if she spill the details and you get the culprit,it doesn't clear my reputation,it doesn't give me my self respect,every one would still think I was the w***e in that clip"Natalie screamed mad at all of us.I know she was right and I feel bad so I said "We would definitely handle that Natalie,we would most definitely had made it know that it wasn't you in that video"I said "How?,How do you plan on doing that without releasing that clip, please tell us"my girlfriend asked leaving me speechless "I guess you haven't thought that far ahead, have you?"Cathy said, turning to Andre, Natalie said "I can't believe you would do this to me,you are my brother too you know,we grew up together,you are suppose to be looking out for me,but here you are supporting an idea that could ruin my life permanently" "I'm sorry Natalie,I never thought about it that way,don't get mad at me please"Andre said.

"Why exactly were you dragging this on Hansel,did you think about what is best for Natalie too,Did you think about your girlfriend's feelings while doing all this including how Sammy was slowly encroaching into your private time and lives,causing division or did you choose to ignore that also"Cathy asked me and that made me take a look at Joy carefully and I noticed she looked stressed and unhappy,how come I never took note of this,was I too focused on Sammy and the issue at hand that I ignored my girlfriend and the fact she was unhappy? I felt disgusted with myself and now we are all quarrelling just because of how I dealt with all this.

Turning to everyone one I said "I'm really sorry about the way I handled this I think I was very wrong in the way I handled it,I think we should release that clip,just give me a moment to tell her it's going to be released" "To be fair we would cut out the weird part,the clip would only show her face when she enters the room and when they began kissing" Judah said.Excusing myself I dialed Sammy's number,"Hello Sammy, how are you" "I'm fine,I'm having a little get together in my apartment and you are invited" she replied "That is sweet but I have something important to tell you,I really need you to understand,there is nothing I can do anymore cause you weren't co-operating for a long while and now the guys have run out of patience besides this isn't also fair to Natalie who is also my Friend"I said trying to reduce the effect of what I was going to say. "What! is this going where I think it is, please tell me this isn't happening"she replied "It is Sammy,the clip is going to be released soon,but the positive part of all this is every part where you guy were actually f*****g would be cut out"I said "It doesn't make it easier, please Hansel you have to help me,make them see reasons not to do this,I am ready to talk,I could even talk now,where are you guys" she asked "We are in my apartment but it doesn't matter Sammy,this isn't fair to Natalie and the guys aren't keen on listening to anything you have to say" I replied "Hansel,you can't let this happen to me, don't pick them over me,we've been friends since we were little, Don't do this to me"she said crying "f**k! Sammy there is nothing I can do about this anymore, please understand,I care about you but at this point my hands are tied" I replied only to have Joy say behind me "The guys needs you attention" "I'll be there in a minute babe" I replied but she rolled her eyes then walked away "I'm sorry Sammy but I have to go" I said before ending the call.

"It's all done,we just want you to look at it before it goes online" Judah said. After going through it,it was safe to say the guys were fair so I nodded and they went about trying to post it,I couldn't help thinking about how Sammy would feel but at this point,it was better we did this once and for all and I can give her any assistance she needs to deal with the aftermath of this."Done",Andre said after uploading it."Guys I know this might sound a little off but please could you guys humour me by giving Sammy any help she needs to deal with this" I asked "Sure" they all said.I decided to address the issue with my girlfriend but she had left the room then Cathy said to Judah "whatever help you are giving her should be done at a safe distance,I don't like her, and I don't want her interfering in my relationship".Judah pulled her into his arms whispering into her ears but my attention went to the door when I heard the door bell ring."I'm leaving,I have to meet up with Nora"Natalie said "I'll join you"Joy replied just as I opened the door and Sammy walked in.I turned to see Joy with a bag, "babe what's going on"I asked,"I'm going over to Natalie's for the time being,we need space to figure out how to go about everything" my girlfriend replied.

"What the f**k do you mean by everything" I asked panicking,"Please you all,you can't release that clip,I'll talk, just hear me out" Sammy said "The deed has been done"Nathan replied "Hansel how could you do this to me,why would you let them do this,do you even care about me"Sammy said pulling my shirt crying and then hugging me "Can we leave now Natalie"Joy asked "if you think I'll let you go then you aren't freaking serious"I said pushing Sammy aside and rushing to my girlfriend to pull her to me "Let me go Hansel,I really don't want to do this with you, it's exhausting and I'm done"Joy replied "You can't be serious about this babe,I choose you over every thing else, please don't do this to me" I begged "Well you've been doing it to me for months now and I've gotten to my breaking point,stop holding me like that you are hurting me" Joy screamed "I'm sorry babe,just don't go"I said while we struggled "Stop this Hansel,just let her go for now"Judah said "if this was Cathy would you let her go"I asked him and he backed down "So is this way you are handling this working,can't you see everything you are doing wrong,let her go" Andre said "He has done nothing wrong,you all are just pathetic trying to make him feel like he is the one to blame when she is just acting like a lunatic" Sammy said infuriating me for butting into my business "Who gave this b***h the permission to come into your relationship,can't you see how f****d up this is,let her go Hansel and fix your s**t" Nathan replied "We can't help how we feel about each other,if she wants to leave let her"Sammy said to me while Andre shook his head "This is why I can't stand you"Joy said to me "Shut the f**k up Sammy"I replied "Let me drive you guys" Andre said pulling Joy away from me.As she walked away,I felt my chest tightening.This can't be happening to me so I rushed over to stop her again. "please babe,I can't live without you, don't do this to me,I love you" I begged but she shook her head crying.I kissed her pouring my soul into that kiss which made her cry more,"Hansel it's not your fault she insecure" Sammy said touching me which irritated me "Yes it is and stop touching me for f**k sake Sammy,I don't like you,I'm not attracted to you and you are beginning to seem disgusting" I said and she sobbed,I just got more irritated so I continued "Can you go home,do that else where cause I find those tears damn irritating" Nathan laughed which I think infuriated Sammy so she said "You wanna know who is behind the clip, guess what,I'll tell you,it's your mum Nathan,harsh Reality right" this had Nathan fuming and storming off.Joy had used this opportunity to walk out with Natalie.Turning to Sammy I said "Get the f**k out of my apartment" "You don't mean that Hansel,we are childhood friends"she replied dialing a number on her phone.

"Mrs James,can you believe Hansel is kicking me out cause Joy got insecure and left"Sammy said to my mom who requested to speak to me,I might as well get this over with, snatching the phone from Sammy I said "I've gotten to my limit with you guys meddling in my relationship and now I won't let you anymore including you mum, I don't want to hear anything about Sammy from you and I don't want to see her when I visit else you won't be seeing me as often" I said "Isn't this too harsh,Sammy had called earlier to tell me you guys were releasing that clip,isn't this too much for her to bear,and now you want to cut her off,you wear childhood sweethearts Hansel,you gave her the nickname Sammy,you usually called her my Sammy"my mom said "Well that is long gone,I love my girlfriend and all this is ruining my relationship with her,I don't like Sammy and I never will,stop forcing her down my throat if you truly care about my happiness" I said to my mom Loud enough for Sammy to hear too "If Joy wasn't in the picture would you have considered having a thing with me" Sammy asked "Would you have,is there a little part of you that feels attracted to her" my mom repeated,after pausing for a while I said "No,I won't have considered it,I would search for someone else but never Sammy,I wouldn't look at her twice, cause I really don't like her.I care about her welfare cause we are childhood friends but that's it.Even with that I still find her annoying most times,but I tried being civil with her cause of you Mom" I replied "I don't know what else to say to you" my mom said "Bye mom" I replied cutting the call."Stay away from me Sammy,I would do worse than this if you don't cause with everything happening, the fact that we are childhood friends doesn't even seem realistic to me anymore"I said and Sammy stormed off.

I held my head sitting down surprised to hear Judah say "Do you need me to stay" he asked and I nodded,I just need someone to vent to and another perspective on the situation.We began talking about everything and I realized I've been hurting Joy for a long while now.It was all a bitter pill to swallow and the reality of this situation was just too harsh for me.when Judah left I was determined to get my girl back but she wouldn't pick my call.for the first time in a very long while,I had to slept alone which made me have a sleepless night.I was a mess and like Nathan said I needed to fix my s**t fast.
