Nathan's POV

I can't really say I have a relationship with Sandra even when she was my brother's fiance.I just can't seem to stand her and that is a fact that anyone who is close to me or my family knows about.But since my brother's death,I learnt to act a bit matured about the situation especially since Ryan was born, I try not to insult Sandra in his presence even though she says the dumbest s**t most of the time.I know sometimes I couldn't help myself and I did shout at Sandra to put her in her place,at the end of day,I still try to keep the peace for Ryan's sake.I know my brother would have expected me to take good care of his son which I'm doing my best to,so imagine my surprise when my girlfriend said it either her or Sandra.

Like what the f**k is going on here I thought.I felt she was pissed I didn't call her through out the day but this is going to another level which is simply crazy so when she said "I'm dead serious,it either me or her,you can't have both,if you want to play house with her, I'm out" my reply was "You do realize even though my relationship with Sandra is bad,she is practically family right" "I have tried my best to understand that but it always comes back to bite me in the ass so I don't want to anymore"she replied "Babe this is crazy,Sandra and Ryan are a package deal,she is his mom for Christ sake and that is my nephew,oh and if you forgot my brother is dead Natalie.Do you expect me to abandon his son now,I know Sandra can be annoying but my nephew is involved here" I was still talking when she cut me off "Annoying, did you just say annoying,have you forgotten what she was planning to do to me while I was your secretary, don't you see how much she doesn't respect our relationship or have the decency to acknowledge boundaries"Natalie said furiously "She wasn't the only one that tried to carry that out in the office that day,you seem to forget that Nora was a part of it or Since you are cool with Nora all her wrongs just disappears too" I said "I don't like her Nathan and I've tried being civil but I have accepted defeat, it's not going to work,she gets on my nerves" she said "Don't ask me to pick between you two Natalie,I love you alot and I can't give you up but I'm not going to cut out my nephew for you,it would kill me,he is like my own son,and I just don't expect you to make me pick, it's not a choice I can make Natalie"I said frustrated and before I could react Natalie had walked out slamming the door.

Why can't I get a break in my f*****g life I thought,I rushed after Natalie but she simply drove off.I kept calling her but she wouldn't pick my call,I ended up sleeping off by three a.m when I was finally exhausted.I woke up to hearing movements in my apartment,I felt Natalie was back but I was too tired to leave the bed,I felt someone pulling the cover over me and I smiled knowing Natalie is back then pulled her to cuddle with me only to hear someone say "Daddy,wake up" that made me freeze,I jumped up to see I pulled Sandra practically forcing her to cuddle with me while having my already hard d**k pressed to her ass and Nora was at the door laughing with Ryan in her arms "I bet you thought that was Natalie bro" she said still laughing,that seem to kill any excitement I had so I simply stood up frowning,I apologized to Sandra,then turning to Nora I said "I regret giving you the code to get in,guess what I'm getting it changed asap" I said still brooding.

Sandra was still on my bed when Natalie walked in.She called my name walking towards the bedroom which made me panic "Get off my bed Sandra" I said irritated but before she did Natalie walked in and we all froze.Nora broke the tension saying "Hello Natalie, it's cool you are here,do you know your boyfriend was calling your name while asleep,this guy can't even sleep peacefully when you are not around" "So true,he was practically forcing me to cuddle just now murmuring your name" Sandra said and I looked at Natalie face which appeared blank,I knew that wasn't good at all."He thought you were her,you need to see the way he fell off the bed when he realized she wasn't you,he has been pissed ever since,oh and he is changing the code to his apartment so I can't get in anymore" Nora said "Why are you here Sandra" my girlfriend asked "oh I was hoping we could go to the office together since the driver would be taking Ryan to school with my car soon"Sandra said to me.I walked towards Natalie hugging her and sighing cause I missed her but I felt how tensed she was in my arms "I'm sorry baby,please don't be mad" I whispered still hugging her when she pulled away,I turned to Ryan,taking him from Nora while he said "I miss you daddy" and I smiled saying "I was with you last night and you are seeing me this morning"

After a while I said "ok everybody out of my room,I need to shower".As they all moved out,I held Natalie making her stay before shutting the door and locking it behind Sandra "babe I know you are pissed,but please try to see things from my angle a bit,I can't cut her out without cutting out Ryan,please baby don't make me do this to my nephew,he already lost his dad" I said with Natalie in my arms who sighed but was still pissed I could tell "Then establish boundaries,and stick to those boundaries,how do you think it feels to hear you were cuddling with her" she said "I swear I thought she was you, I don't remember giving anyone the passcode to my apartment except you so I thought she was you babe.I forgot Nora has the passcode,I promise I am changing it today.Please baby I hate it when we quarrel,it drains me mentally, emotionally and physically,I promise I would enforce boundaries" I said trying to appease her "I just don't like her,there is something fishy about her,and why did she pick your call at work yesterday" She asked and I was surprised "she never picked my call" I said "Yea she did,I called and she picked saying something like you are kind of busy but I could drop a message for you which she would pass" she said and I was honestly surprised so Natalie showed me her call log which happened to be when I went to my dad's office,was that why I noticed Sandra was jumpy and weird I thought, "I don't want to have to talk to her to get to my boyfriend,in short,I don't want to interact with her at all,I'm done putting an effort with her"Natalie said "I promise it won't happen again,come-on babe are we good now" I asked and she shrugged making we smile.As I kissed her,I heard Nora saying,"I hope you guys aren't at it in there.Nathan you should have the decency to realize you have guest waiting for you.You can go on like rabbits later" she said and I groaned hating the interruption while Natalie laughed.As Natalie stepped out,I hurriedly showered and when I was ready, I went to join the girls when I heard Sandra say "You can't dictate how my interaction with Nathan should go,he is family so keep your insecurity to yourself" "Sandra I think Natalie is right this time,it's rude to pick someone's call in their absence unless you have a hidden agenda"Nora replied "And why can't I,I was just doing a favour,stop acting like you are his wife cause you aren't and would never be" Sandra said "Nora take Ryan to the driver,he is running late for school"I said and immediately Nora left I turned to Sandra saying "I have nothing but respect for you as Ryan's mom but you need to start respecting my relationship with Natalie.And do not pick my call at all,in my presence or absence,you did that again last night when I had a video call with my girlfriend,it is really Annoying" I said "I was just trying to be helpful seeing how exhausted you were" Sandra replied "Thanks but I really don't need your help,I just need you to be respectful towards my relationship stop implying s**t around my girlfriend" I said and Sandra backed down turning to Natalie I said "I told you I was going to handle this,you didn't have to confront her babe" "Sorry babe I was just pissed" she said,I nodded kissing her when Nora walked back in.

"So Nathan,I got a call from Rita last night ranting about how you guys were sabotaging her and her family,is this true" Nora asked "Yea" I replied dismissively "You don't need to fight my battles,you know that right"Nora said and I simply nodded but Natalie cut in saying "Is that really necessary Nathan, is this why you've been all secretive for a while now" "Natalie this is not what you are thinking"I said "You shouldn't blame him for protecting his sister,she need to understand that when you mess with the higher ups, you get crushed,I hope the lesson sticks to losers like her"Sandra said pissing me off,passing the car key to her I said "Sandra please could you wait in the car,I'll be out soon" she was pissed but walked out and then I said "You are well aware that Rita was going to push my sister down that stairs,she had it coming,I'm holding myself back from wrecking more havoc but she is testing my patience which is already very thin" I said "This isn't you babe,I get you are pissed but how do you think our friends would feel,Cathy lost her baby over this and I was hoping we all could squash this,it's almost two months since that Incidence,she is still healing so how do you think she would feel when you guys bring this up again,plus you know Andre isn't going to sit still,this is about to become messy again,is that what you want"Natalie said and I paused but I finally replied "If that is what it would take for her to stay away from my sister then yes,I have already lost one sibling and I'm not taking s**t from anyone who tries to hurt the other"Nathan replied "Babe this is so messed up"Natalie said hugging me and I sighed "I just need her to stay away from me but you guys should leave their family business out of it" Nora said and I nodded.

As we moved out I asked Natalie once again "Babe when are you moving in,I really need you here with me" she kissed me saying "I just need time Nathan,I love the independence I have staying alone besides if I'm pissed at you I can simply walk away to my apartment"she concluded laughing before kissing me again "Bye guys,I can't stand the PDA" Nora said driving off "so this is a power trip for you"I said smiling "Yea,and I'm loving it" she replied.As she left,I just couldn't stop smiling,I didn't even notice or talk to Sandra all through the drive to the office.
