Nathan's POV

I appreciated the fact that I got introduced as Natalie's boyfriend to her parents but the weekend ended up being a disaster.I really felt sorry for Catherine who had a miscarriage and I have kept quiet about everything that went down out of respect for Judah and Catherine but enough is enough.Its time I remind Rita of the boundaries she shouldn't cross.Nora is my sister and Rita's had intended to push her down that stairs, I have already lost a sibling so I wouldn't be giving anyone the chance to hurt my other sibling.I know this would piss Andre off but at this point,I don't give a fuck.The moment she tried to harm my sister all decency has been thrown out the window.

"Nathan you've been very quiet lately, what is going on,I know with Cathy's miscarriage our emotions has been pretty messed up but I sense there is more to the way you are acting" Natalie said to me but I simply shrugged not giving a reply "You are acting secretive and I can sense you are up to something Nathan" she said and I pulled her in for a hug before whispering "I'm fine baby,stop worrying,I've got everything under control and I'm just a little bit stressed"I replied taking a deep breath.As we prepared for work I kept thinking about everything I've done for the past month and how much things are going to get messy soon but on the bright side I would enjoy watching how messy it would get this time around. You see my dad knows about what went down that weekend and he was furious, he is wrecking havoc on Rita's parents business as we speak without them having a clue and as for me, I am making sure Rita loses her endorsement deals from notable brands one after the other, including her modelling gigs.This would teach her not to f*****g mess with my family.As we walked out of my apartment with me holding Natalie's hand, I was surprised to see Sandra walking towards me while I felt Natalie tense "Why is she here" Natalie asked quietly "No idea" I responded just as Sandra moved closer saying "Hello Nathan,we are behind schedule,we have a lot of work to do,we need to finalize the paperwork for my business,I already have my merchandise ready,and our stores are ready but we also need to finalize our meeting on how to promote the business and expand"Sandra said and when she finished,I realized she had pulled me away from Natalie to my car,I turned to see Natalie frowning."Sorry baby, I'll give you a call later in the day"I said apologetically to Natalie who just rolled her eyes looking all cute before getting into her car.

I ended up driving Sandra to the office and I was miserable all through,I just can't stand how superficial she is but I tried tolerating her and keeping the peace for the sake of my nephew.We worked all day and I also had lunch with Sandra.I was just trying to get this business with Sandra done so she can give me space,I went to my dad's office to clearify and approved some details only to walk back in with Sandra acting all jumpy and weird.I was about to ask her what was going on but ended up being distracted since Rita barged into my office looking disheveled and a crying mess which I found amusing "what did I ever do to you Nathan,I had no issues with you so why are you trying to ruin me and my family"she said screaming and I smiled saying "Think carefully and you would figure it out" "Does this have any thing to do with Nora,if it does that is between us so why are you sabotaging me and ruining all my modelling gig,your family has almost crumbled my dad's business,my parents has done nothing to you"she said still screaming and crying while I felt satisfaction "oh no young lady the crocodile tears ain't gonna work cause the moment you tried to harm my sister,you attacked everyone in my family so don't expect us to sit quietly watching you harm Nora"I replied calmly "You have a dark soul,that is girls quarrel and what wrong have I done if i only want your sister to stay away from my boyfriend, why can't she find a man of her own, is her life that pathetic and why is my parents being dragged into this"she asked "Well it stopped being just girls quarrel when you tried pushing my sister down that stairs,oh you seem surprised, did you think I missed that detail,the fact that you intended to push my sister down the stairs is enough reason to bring your family into this,you see,you seem to have suddenly forgotten who we are and what we can do to you,I didn't even have to stop my work to ruin you and your family,it was as easy as that so think twice before attacking my sister again cause I can hurt you even more so don't test me"I replied calmly "What a friend you are, how do you think your friend would feel about you attacking his girlfriend huh"she asked and that made me pause for a bit but I recovered quickly saying"Do you think I haven't thought about that,I don't give a f**k what your boyfriend thinks.I have lost a sibling and I know how deep the pain is,you never heal from something like that so I won't sit back and watch you attack or assault my sister,I could file a case against you but I think this passes my message better.Now get out of my office,or I would have you forcefully removed,I have work to do"I said dismissively."Please leave my parents business out of this if you have any decency left" she pleaded,"tell your parents to take that up with my dad" I said while Sandra held the door open for her, indicating it was time to for her to leave which she did.

"I can't believe she tried to harm Nora, does your mum know about this cause you guys are pretty lenient with her" Sandra said "She isn't aware and I want it to stay that way,I don't want my mom going beserk over irrelevant issues" I said and Sandra backed down,we talked about work, Nelson and Ryan which eased the tension.I even found myself laughing with Sandra,I can't remember when last that happened but I do realize that she was once my friend.We lost track of time and I ended closing late at night.I had to drop Sandra off,and I decided to tuck Ryan in for the night while reading a bedtime story for him, Sandra came in indicating I had a video call from my girlfriend,that was when I realized it slipped off my mind to give her a call during the day.Sandra picked the call handing it over to me and I was very happy to see my baby's face after a hectic day,she was in my apartment."hey baby,how are you doing" I said just as Sandra sat at the other end of Ryan's bed kissing her son who was already trying to get my attention "I'm fine,when are you getting back,we need to talk" she said "I'll be home soon"I replied "Daddy stay"Ryan said yawning and I kissed him just as Sandra did also "I can't Nathan,I just can't deal with this"Natalie said leaving me confused "baby can we talk about this when I get back,I have to tuck Ryan in"I said.As I ended the call,I felt something was off but I brushed it aside finishing Ryan's story with him already asleep.I moved only to find Sandra who has slept off on the couch,her nightie was riding up her thigh while she slept looking really exhausted,I felt sorry for her cause she is working so hard for my nephew,I knew if Nelson was still alive,he wouldn't allow her stress herself this much,just as I won't allow Natalie look this stressed.I woke her up gently and she seemed disoriented at first,I help her up while she stumbled a bit "I'm leaving"I informed her "Thanks alot Nathan,I really appreciate what you are doing for my son"she replied "He is related to me too you know,he is like a son to me"I replied honestly and she hugged me,I knew then that caring for a child alone isn't easy on her,plus she is doing the best she can given the circumstances she found herself.I hugged her too, telling her she was doing a good job before leaving.

I got home to meet my girlfriend who was fuming,and I think I have a clue why she is mad "Ok baby i get you are mad at me,I was supposed to call but I didn't,I'm really sorry"I said but she looked at me quietly before saying "Nathan,I would be as direct as I can be, it's either me or her" and I was confused "You or who?" I asked "Sandra"she replied leaving me shocked "Are you serious right now Natalie"I asked "I'm dead serious,it either me or her,you can't have both,if you want to play house with her, I'm out"she said leaving me shocked.I have never given Natalie the impression that there was more to my relationship with Sandra so where the hell is this coming from,I thought staring at my girlfriend shocked.
